| CVE-2026-84268 | 1 Redhat | 8 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhel Aus and 5 more | 2026-10-21 | 8.8 High |
| A flaw was found in the SFTP backend in gvfs. When mounting a share and reading a file, a malicious SFTP server can cause read_reply() to process a length that exceeds the size requested by the client. The function does not verify the server-provided length against the allocated buffer size, causing the operation to write past the intended boundaries. This issue allows a malicious server to corrupt adjacent heap memory in the gvfsd-sftp process, resulting in a denial of service as the process aborts upon detecting the heap corruption or potentially allowing arbitrary code execution. | ||||
| CVE-2026-112202 | 2026-10-21 | N/A | ||
| Imager::File::GIF versions before 1.006 for Perl allow out-of-bounds reads when consolidating GIF images. With `gif_consolidate => 1`, palette indices from the image are used without checking the colour table's bounds. The i_readgif_low routine reads beyond the heap allocation and copies the bytes into output pixels. The default GIF reader is not affected. The same code ships bundled in the Imager distribution. An attacker supplying a crafted GIF can disclose adjacent heap memory through the decoded output and may crash the process. | ||||
| CVE-2026-111380 | 1 Freerdp | 1 Freerdp | 2026-10-21 | 8.8 High |
| FreeRDP from 3.29.0 before 3.32.0 contains an integer overflow in the Apple audin backends (audin_mac.m, audin_ios.m), which compute the audio queue buffer size as FramesPerPacket * 2 * nChannels in UINT32 arithmetic, bypassing the CVE-2026-91962 fix. A malicious RDP server can send FramesPerPacket of 2^30 in the audin Open PDU to wrap the multiplication, causing undersized AudioQueueAllocateBuffer allocations and a heap out-of-bounds write in macOS and iOS clients. | ||||
| CVE-2026-111375 | 1 Freerdp | 1 Freerdp | 2026-10-21 | 4.8 Medium |
| FreeRDP from 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the Windows RAIL client that allows malicious RDP servers to trigger heap over-reads by sending non-NUL-terminated window titles. Attackers can send a full-length WINDOW_ORDER_FIELD_TITLE update that wf_rail_window_common passes to SetWindowTextW, corrupting titles or crashing the client. | ||||
| CVE-2026-111367 | 1 Aapanel | 1 Billionmail | 2026-10-21 | 6.5 Medium |
| BillionMail through 4.9 contains a hard-coded cryptographic key vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to forge unsubscribe and subscribe-confirm JWTs by computing the key from shipped configuration constants. Attackers can submit forged tokens to /api/unsubscribe, /api/unsubscribe_new, or /api/subscribe/confirm to deactivate any contact or force confirmed subscriptions. | ||||
| CVE-2026-111155 | 1 Sezero | 1 Libtimidity | 2026-10-21 | 6.1 Medium |
| libTiMidity through 0.2.8 contains a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the SoundFont loader in src/sndfont.c that uses unvalidated sampleId and instrument generator values as table indices. Attackers can supply a crafted .sf2 file loaded through mid_set_soundfont() to read heap memory out of bounds and crash the application. | ||||
| CVE-2026-111150 | 1 Valleybell | 1 Libvgm | 2026-10-21 | 5.5 Medium |
| ValleyBell libvgm through commit a6eed945 contains a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the PCM data-block decompressor caused by an unbounded compression-table index. Attackers can supply a crafted .vgm file with a small type 0x7F table and wider compressed values, causing DecompressDataBlk to over-read heap memory and crash consumers. | ||||
| CVE-2026-111145 | 1 Ytnef Project | 1 Ytnef | 2026-10-21 | 6.1 Medium |
| ytnef through 2.1.2 contains a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in DecompressRTF() in lib/ytnef.c that never validates uncompressedSize for uncompressed RTF streams. Attackers can supply a crafted winmail.dat TNEF attachment with a malicious PT_BINARY MAPI property to crash ytnefprint or libytnef callers and leak adjacent heap memory. | ||||
| CVE-2026-111140 | 1 Libyal | 1 Libregf | 2026-10-21 | 6.1 Medium |
| libregf through 20260526 contains a heap out-of-bounds read in libregf_value_item_read_value_data() because it bounds value data size without subtracting the 4-byte old-format cell offset. Attackers can supply a crafted version 1.0/1.1 REGF hive with a value data cell ending its hive bin to leak adjacent heap bytes or crash parsers like regfexport and plaso. | ||||
| CVE-2026-111130 | 1 Openslide | 1 Openslide | 2026-10-21 | 6.1 Medium |
| OpenSlide through 4.0.1 contains a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the MIRAX reader that allows attackers to read past the slide_positions array via crafted Slidedat.ini values. Attackers can supply a MIRAX slide whose CameraImageDivisionsPerSide does not evenly divide the image counts, crashing applications that open it and corrupting tile geometry. | ||||
| CVE-2026-110876 | 1 Adplug Project | 1 Adplug | 2026-10-21 | 5.5 Medium |
| AdPlug through 2.4 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in src/xsm.cpp that allows attackers to read before note_table by supplying a negative note index. Attackers can craft an XSM file with the ofTAZ! signature and a song byte of 0x80 or higher, causing a global-buffer-overflow read during playback that may crash affected applications. | ||||
| CVE-2026-43858 | 1 Advantech | 1 Adam-3600 | 2026-10-20 | N/A |
| A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability could allow a remote authenticated attacker to achieve arbitrary code execution. | ||||
| CVE-2026-113868 | 1 Mozilla | 1 Thunderbird | 2026-10-20 | 5.3 Medium |
| When authenticating to a POP3 or SMTP server using NTLM, Thunderbird did not check whether the server's challenge was valid base64. A malicious server could send a challenge that caused Thunderbird to include uninitialized heap memory in its NTLM response, disclosing that memory to the server. A challenge consisting only of base64 padding also caused an out-of-bounds read, crashing Thunderbird. This affected accounts configured to use NTLM or GSSAPI authentication. The uninitialized memory disclosure only affected NTLM. This vulnerability was fixed in Thunderbird 158.0.1 and Thunderbird 153.5.1. | ||||

| CVE-2026-98550 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-20 | 7.5 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tipc: reject invalid and unexpected GRP_ACK_MSG to prevent bc_ackers underflow Commit 48a5fe38772b ("tipc: fix bc_ackers underflow on duplicate GRP_ACK_MSG") rejected duplicate/stale ACKs in tipc_group_proto_rcv() by returning early when less_eq(acked, m->bc_acked). However, that check remains incomplete in two ways: 1. When grp->bc_ackers is zero (e.g. on a quiet group, when replicast ACKs were not requested, or after all expected members have already acknowledged), an unexpected GRP_ACK_MSG with acked > m->bc_acked passes less_eq() and unconditionally decrements grp->bc_ackers. Because bc_ackers is a u16, this wraps to 65535, causing tipc_group_bc_cong() to permanently report congestion and blocking all future group broadcasts on the socket. 2. During an active broadcast round (grp->bc_ackers > 0), the sender transmits packet S and advances grp->bc_snd_nxt to S + 1. Receivers increment their expected counter to S + 1 upon consuming packet S, so the only valid ACK value for the current round is strictly acked == grp->bc_snd_nxt. However, tipc_group_update_bc_members() initializes each member's m->bc_acked to prev = grp->bc_snd_nxt - 1 (S - 1 before increment). This leaves a 2-sequence gap (S - 1 to S + 1) in sequence space. An incoming ACK is therefore neither rejected as duplicate nor prevented from decrementing grp->bc_ackers if an unexpected or stale value (such as S) is received. A member sending acked = S followed by acked = S + 1 could decrement grp->bc_ackers twice in the same round, prematurely clearing bc_ackers or underflowing it. Fix this by: - Dropping GRP_ACK_MSG immediately if grp->bc_ackers is zero. - Requiring acked == grp->bc_snd_nxt and rejecting duplicates where m->bc_acked == acked. Because replicast broadcast rounds are strictly sequential, only grp->bc_snd_nxt can be acknowledged, and each member can acknowledge at most once per round. Note that a related pre-existing issue in tipc_group_delete_member() (where grp->bc_ackers decrementing to zero upon member departure does not restore *grp->open or trigger a socket wakeup) will be addressed in a separate patch. | ||||
