| CVE-2026-76788 | 1 Zephyrproject | 1 Zephyr | 2026-10-20 | 8.8 High |
| The OSDP Control Panel reply parser cp_decode_response() in subsys/mgmt/osdp/src/osdp_cp.c decodes replies from a Peripheral Device into a stack-allocated struct osdp_event. For the REPLY_KEYPPAD and REPLY_RAW reply types, the payload length is taken from the received frame and the only validation performed is that the declared length is self-consistent with the number of payload bytes present in the frame. Because the attacker controls both the length field and the frame length, that check imposes no bound, and the subsequent memcpy() writes into the fixed 64-byte data arrays of struct osdp_event_keypress / struct osdp_event_cardread (OSDP_EVENT_MAX_DATALEN). The sibling REPLY_FMT handler in the same switch already carried the missing > OSDP_EVENT_MAX_DATALEN bound. The defect is reached from cp_process_reply(), which reads bytes from the OSDP RS-485 channel and passes them through osdp_phy_check_packet() and osdp_phy_decode_packet() before dispatching on the reply ID. Triggering it requires CONFIG_OSDP with CONFIG_OSDP_MODE_CP and an application event callback registered (the normal Control Panel integration), plus a frame carrying a correct SOM, a valid CRC-16, and a matching 2-bit sequence number — all of which are computable or observable by anyone on the bus. No check ties the reply ID to the outstanding command, so an oversized REPLY_KEYPPAD or REPLY_RAW is accepted as the answer to a routine CMD_POLL. A malicious or compromised card reader, or anyone with access to the RS-485 wiring, can supply such a frame; CONFIG_OSDP_SC_ENABLED only helps while a secure channel is active, and a single unauthenticated frame carrying a bad MAC causes sc_deactivate(), after which plaintext replies are again accepted. With the default CONFIG_OSDP_UART_BUFFER_LENGTH of 256, roughly 180 bytes of fully attacker-chosen data can be written past the end of the stack-allocated event object, over saved registers and the return address on typical Cortex-M and RISC-V frame layouts (Zephyr does not enable stack canaries by default). The impact ranges from a hard crash of the access-control panel to potential control-flow hijack in the context of the OSDP receive thread. The fix adds an OSDP_EVENT_MAX_DATALEN bound to both handlers, capping each memcpy() at the size of its destination. | ||||
| CVE-2026-68498 | 1 Fasterxml | 1 Jackson-core | 2026-10-20 | 7.5 High |
| StreamReadConstraints.maxNameLength (default 50,000 characters) is intended to bound how much memory a single JSON Object property name can consume while being parsed, independently of the much larger maxStringLength (default 100,000,000 characters) that bounds ordinary string values. For parsers built over character input — Reader, String or char[] sources, all served by ReaderBasedJsonParser — that bound is not applied while the name is being accumulated. The code path instead re-uses the string-value length check, which is roughly 2000x larger by default. In the character-input slow path, ReaderBasedJsonParser._parseName2() accumulates the name into the TextBuffer and, when a segment fills, calls TextBuffer.finishCurrentSegment(), which validates only maxStringLength. The correct check, StreamReadConstraints.validateNameLength(int), is reached afterwards in CharsToNameCanonicalizer.findSymbol(), once the entire name has been scanned to its closing quote. By that point the full name — up to maxStringLength characters — has already been buffered in memory. A remote attacker who can have a single sufficiently long JSON Object property name parsed through this path can force allocation on the order of 100,000,000 characters (approximately 200 MB, with segment bookkeeping pushing real peak usage higher) before any StreamConstraintsException is thrown, instead of the approximately 50,000-character (about 100 KB) bound the API promises. Repeating this across concurrent requests can exhaust the heap and crash the process. No authentication or user interaction is required. Because StreamReadConstraints.maxDocumentLength is disabled by default (-1), nothing else bounds the token first, so the issue is exploitable under default configuration. Byte-input parsers are not affected: UTF8StreamJsonParser, UTF8DataInputJsonParser and the non-blocking (async) parsers re-validate maxNameLength on every growth of the name-decode buffer via ParserBase._growNameDecodeBuffer(), rejecting an oversized name after allocating only tens of kilobytes. Applications are exposed when untrusted JSON is parsed from a String, Reader or char[] — for example an HTTP request body already read into a String — rather than from raw UTF-8 bytes. This issue affects com.fasterxml.jackson.core:jackson-core from 2.16.0 and tools.jackson.core:jackson-core from 3.0.0. Releases before 2.16.0 are not affected, because StreamReadConstraints.maxNameLength was first introduced in jackson-core 2.16.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-110754 | 2026-10-20 | 6.5 Medium | ||
| Text::CSV_XS versions before 1.65 for Perl leak the parsed fields of a record that fails to parse in getline. getline collects the fields of a record into a new array and returns a reference to it only when the parse succeeds. When the record has a syntax error, getline returns undef and never frees the array or the fields parsed before the error. A long-running process parsing untrusted CSV retains every malformed record it is sent, so repeated malformed input exhausts its memory. | ||||
| CVE-2026-109588 | 1 Freertos | 1 Freertos-kernel | 2026-10-20 | 8.8 High |

| CVE-2026-110005 | 2026-10-20 | 8.8 High | ||
| The `periphery` agent's container-management functionality of Komodo version 2.2.0 contains an OS command injection vulnerability. An authenticated low-privileged user with `Execute`, or `Read` plus `Logs`, permission on a managed server can supply shell metacharacters in a container name processed by the `DestroyContainer` or `SearchContainerLog` operations. The container name is interpolated without escaping into a command executed using `sh -c`, allowing arbitrary commands to execute as root on the managed host. This permits a user without Komodo's `Terminal` permission to obtain unrestricted host-level command execution. | ||||

| CVE-2026-113396 | 1 Draytek | 2 Vigor2960, Vigor2960 Firmware | 2026-10-20 | 7.4 High |
| A weakness has been identified in DrayTek Vigor2960 1.5.1.6 Revision 8218. The impacted element is the function rename_table of the file /cgi-bin/mainfunction.cgi of the component Rename Table Handler. This manipulation of the argument newtable causes command injection. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. Upgrading to version 1.5.1.7 is sufficient to resolve this issue. It is suggested to upgrade the affected component. The vendor explains: "2960 1.5.1.7 has corrected many security issues. And 2960 is EoS with limited support, only major issues would be reviewed(e.g. unauthenticated vuln.)". This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. | ||||

| A security flaw has been discovered in opensource-socialnetwork up to 9.11/10.1. This affects the function input of the file actions/administrator/cache/dynamic.php of the component Cache Settings. Performing a manipulation of the argument host/port/username/password/type/status results in code injection. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. The patch is named 40945057cb451f0f35153110bc7e889c094400e1. Applying a patch is the recommended action to fix this issue. The vendor explains: "While we have implemented this patch as a defense-in-depth measure, we emphasize that in Open Source Social Network (OSSN), site administrators are fully trusted users who are intentionally granted broad system authority by design including the native ability to upload custom components/themes containing arbitrary PHP code." | ||||
| CVE-2026-112401 | 1 Python-pillow | 1 Pillow | 2026-10-20 | 5.3 Medium |
| Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 5.4.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow performs quadratic copying while parsing GIF comments. GifImageFile._seek() repeatedly appends immutable bytes for comment sub-blocks and multiple comment extensions, and frame zero is parsed during Image.open(). An attacker can submit a small-dimension GIF containing many comment extensions to any application that opens the file. This can consume excessive CPU and deny service before the application can inspect the image. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0. | ||||
