| CVE-2026-49442 | 1 Cacti | 1 Cacti | 2026-10-23 | 5.3 Medium |
| Cacti is an open source performance and fault management framework. Prior to version 1.2.31, a User Enumeration vulnerability allows an attacker to identify valid usernames on the Cacti service. When a user attempts to log in, the application returns slightly different error messages depending on whether the provided username exists in the system. When username exists on Cacti, in the response, they see Access Denied! Login failed. When it does not exist on Cacti, they see Access Denied! Login Failed. The only difference between the responses is the capitalization of the letter "f" in the word failed. This issue has been patched in version 1.2.31. | ||||
| CVE-2026-57845 | 1 Huggingface | 1 Datasets | 2026-10-23 | 8.8 High |
| Hugging Face Datasets through 5.1.0 contains an insecure deserialization vulnerability that allows attackers to execute arbitrary Python code by crafting a malicious pickle file loaded through the deprecated pandas packaged builder. Attackers can supply a pickle-backed dataset that is processed by Pandas._generate_tables via pandas.read_pickle() without validation, so when a victim calls datasets.load_dataset("pandas", data_files=...), the embedded __reduce__ payload executes code with the victim process's privileges. | ||||
| CVE-2026-79982 | 1 Zephyrproject | 1 Zephyr | 2026-10-23 | 8.8 High |
| The Bluetooth HCI USB transport class of the new USB device stack, subsys/usb/device_next/class/bt_hci.c, copies every controller-to-host HCI packet into a USB transfer buffer before enqueuing it on an endpoint. bt_hci_tx_sync_in() allocated that buffer from bt_hci_ep_pool, a fixed pool whose slots are only USBD_MAX_BULK_MPS bytes (64 on full-speed-only builds), and then performed net_buf_add_mem(buf, bt_buf->data, bt_buf->len) with no length check. HCI event and ACL buffers are sized by CONFIG_BT_BUF_EVT_RX_SIZE and CONFIG_BT_BUF_ACL_RX_SIZE and can be far larger, so the copy runs past the end of the 64-byte slot into the adjacent slots and into whatever follows the statically allocated pool. The device runs the local Bluetooth controller in raw HCI mode (CONFIG_BT_HCI_RAW), so the oversized packets originate over the air. With the HCI buffer sizes recommended for full-featured controllers, an unauthenticated attacker within Bluetooth range can supply the overflowing bytes: a connected peer that negotiates Data Length Extension can send ACL fragments up to CONFIG_BT_CTLR_DATA_LENGTH_MAX bytes, and an attacker that merely broadcasts extended advertising data reaches the same path through LE Extended Advertising Report events, which the controller fragments only to CONFIG_BT_BUF_EVT_RX_SIZE. In the stock configuration the overflow is already reached without any radio traffic: the mandatory Read Supported Commands command-complete event is 70 bytes and overruns the 64-byte slot by six bytes on every host initialization. Because net_buf_add_mem() validates tailroom only through an assertion unless CONFIG_NET_BUF_HARDENING is enabled, builds with CONFIG_ASSERT=n — the usual production setting — silently corrupt memory adjacent to the USB buffer pool with attacker-chosen contents, which on a target without memory protection between subsystems can lead to arbitrary code execution. Builds with assertions enabled fail the assertion instead and panic, giving a remotely triggerable denial of service. The fix introduces a separate bt_hci_tx_pool sized to MAX(BT_BUF_ACL_RX_SIZE, BT_BUF_EVT_RX_SIZE) for the controller-to-host direction while leaving the host-to-device pool at the endpoint packet size, which is already bounds-checked during reassembly. | ||||
| CVE-2026-83813 | 1 Twisted | 1 Twisted | 2026-10-23 | 3.1 Low |
| Twisted is an event-based framework for internet applications, supporting Python 3.6+. Prior to 26.10.0rc1, twisted.names.dns.DNSDatagramProtocol accepts a UDP DNS response for a pending query when its 16-bit transaction ID matches but does not verify that the response came from the queried host and port. An attacker able to deliver a packet to the resolver's listening port with the correct transaction ID can inject a forged answer. The standard twisted.names.client.Resolver uses a new random source port for each query, increasing off-path attack complexity, while applications that reuse a DNSDatagramProtocol instance expose only the transaction-ID search space after the first query. A successful forgery can redirect hostname resolution and enable mail interception, server-side request forgery, or man-in-the-middle positioning. This issue is fixed in version 26.10.0rc1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98094 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-23 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: staging: fbtft: make dirty_lock IRQ-safe fbtft_mkdirty() can be reached from the fbcon rendering path while processing printk() in hardirq context. Meanwhile, dirty_lock is also taken by fbtft_deferred_io() in workqueue context with local interrupts enabled. Lockdep reports a possible IRQ lock inversion involving dirty_lock and console_owner. A hardirq can interrupt a CPU holding dirty_lock and enter the console rendering path, which can attempt to acquire dirty_lock again. The following lockdep report was observed on an RK3566 system with CONFIG_PROVE_LOCKING enabled: WARNING: possible irq lock inversion dependency detected swapper/2/0 just changed the state of lock: (console_owner){-...}-{0:0} but this lock took another, HARDIRQ-unsafe lock in the past: (&par->dirty_lock){+.+.}-{2:2} CPU0 CPU1 ---- ---- lock(&par->dirty_lock); local_irq_disable(); lock(console_owner); lock(&par->dirty_lock); <Interrupt> lock(console_owner); *** DEADLOCK *** Use spin_lock_irqsave() for fbtft_mkdirty() and spin_lock_irq() for fbtft_deferred_io(). They only access the dirty line range, so the IRQ-off regions remain short. | ||||

| CVE-2026-65824 | 1 Open-reception | 1 Appointment-booking-software | 2026-10-23 | 7.4 High |
| OpenReception's appointment booking software provides an end-to-end encrypted appointment booking platform. Prior to version 2.2.1, an attacker who captures a pending invite token can replay it to obtain a passkey-registration credential and register their own passkey on the invited account, taking control of that account. For a staff or tenant-admin invite this yields access to the tenant context tied to that account. This issue has been patched in version 2.2.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-106071 | 1 Nodejs | 1 Nodejs | 2026-10-23 | N/A |
| A flaw in Node.js Permission Model filesystem enforcement can grant access to paths that do not match a wildcard `--allow-fs-read` or `--allow-fs-write` rule. When the requested path is shorter than the prefix of a wildcard grant, the radix tree lookup stops comparing early and treats the path as a match. For example, `--allow-fs-read=/etc/passwd.*` also allows reading `/etc/passwd`. This requires the wildcard grant to sit directly under the root of the permission tree, for example when it is the only grant for that scope. This is a different root cause from CVE-2026-58043. This vulnerability affects Node.js **26.x**. | ||||
| CVE-2026-106074 | 1 Nodejs | 1 Nodejs | 2026-10-23 | N/A |
| A flaw in Node.js `crypto` causes the internal entropy caches used by `crypto.randomUUID()`, `crypto.randomUUIDv7()`, and `crypto.randomInt()` to be saved into user-land startup snapshots (`--build-snapshot`) and single executable applications built with `useSnapshot`. If any of these functions, or an API that relies on them such as `URL.createObjectURL()`, is called while the snapshot is built, every process started from that snapshot returns the same values until the cache is refilled: up to 127 UUIDs and about 1,000 `randomInt()` values. Identifiers expected to be unique can collide across processes, and values issued by one process can be predicted by observing another. This vulnerability affects Node.js **26.x**, **24.x**, and **22.x**. | ||||
| CVE-2026-115863 | 1 Connman | 1 Connman | 2026-10-23 | 7.6 High |
| ConnMan through 2.0 has a stack-based buffer overflow via a DHCPv6 Reply message. This occurs in get_domains in gdhcp/client.c. It copies a fixed NS_MAXDNAME (1025) bytes from a DHCPv6 DOMAIN_LIST (option 24) value into a 1026-byte stack buffer dns_name regardless of the actual option length, then walks DNS labels with an unbounded "c += jump + 1" loop. A crafted DHCPv6 REPLY with a DOMAIN_LIST option of >= 1025 non-zero bytes makes the label walk leave the buffer and read/write '.' past its end in attacker-chosen strides. An on-link attacker can trigger this without authentication via a forged Router Advertisement (O=1) and a forged DHCPv6 REPLY matching xid/CLIENTID with a long DOMAIN_LIST. The impact is unauthenticated on-link crash of connmand (runs as root). This was introduced in bb06c47. | ||||
| CVE-2026-115570 | 1 Electron | 1 Electron | 2026-10-23 | 7.4 High |
| Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 42.11.16, 43.8.1, 44.9.1, and 45.0.0-beta.6, Electron does not block compromised eMudhra intermediate certificates in Chromium networking, Node.js tls, Node.js https, or Node.js fetch. An attacker who holds a certificate issued through one of these intermediates and can intercept network traffic can impersonate a TLS server to an affected application. This issue is fixed in versions 42.11.16, 43.8.1, 44.9.1, and 45.0.0-beta.6. | ||||
| CVE-2026-115580 | 1 Py-pdf | 1 Pypdf | 2026-10-23 | 5.5 Medium |
| pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.21.2, an attacker can craft a PDF with a standard cross-reference table whose declared entry count exceeds what the file can contain, causing excessive processing and long runtimes when the file is opened. This issue is fixed in version 6.21.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-115585 | 1 Py-pdf | 1 Pypdf | 2026-10-23 | 5.5 Medium |
| pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.21.2, an incomplete remediation for repeated malformed cross-reference entries in GHSA-55h5-xmcq-c37v could still trigger a complete PDF stream reload during each recovery attempt even when a recovery cache was present, causing crafted cross-reference streams to produce long runtimes. This issue is fixed in version 6.21.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-115586 | 1 Pypa | 1 Virtualenv | 2026-10-23 | 7.0 High |
| virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments. From 21.14.9 until 21.14.13, the bash bin/activate script can copy an attacker-controlled --prompt value into PS1 without escaping dollar signs or backticks when both promptvars and POSIX mode are disabled during activation. Re-enabling promptvars, running set -o posix, or starting an interactive child bash that inherits the exported PS1 can then expand command substitution in the stored VIRTUAL_ENV_PROMPT value and execute commands as the user who activates the environment. This issue is fixed in version 21.14.13. | ||||
