CVE-2025-21722 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nilfs2: do not force clear folio if buffer is referenced Patch series "nilfs2: protect busy buffer heads from being force-cleared". This series fixes the buffer head state inconsistency issues reported by syzbot that occurs when the filesystem is corrupted and falls back to read-only, and the associated buffer head use-after-free issue. This patch (of 2): Syzbot has reported that after nilfs2 detects filesystem corruption and falls back to read-only, inconsistencies in the buffer state may occur. One of the inconsistencies is that when nilfs2 calls mark_buffer_dirty() to set a data or metadata buffer as dirty, but it detects that the buffer is not in the uptodate state: WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 6049 at fs/buffer.c:1177 mark_buffer_dirty+0x2e5/0x520 fs/buffer.c:1177 ... CVE-2025-21714 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/mlx5: Fix implicit ODP use after free Prevent double queueing of implicit ODP mr destroy work by using __xa_cmpxchg() to make sure this is the only time we are destroying this specific mr. Without this change, we could try to invalidate this mr twice, which in turn could result in queuing a MR work destroy twice, and eventually the second work could execute after the MR was freed due to the first work, causing a user after free and trace below. refcount_t: underflow; use-after-free. CVE-2024-57857 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/siw: Remove direct link to net_device Do not manage a per device direct link to net_device. Rely on associated ib_devices net_device management, not doubling the effort locally. A badly managed local link to net_device was causing a 'KASAN: slab-use-after-free' exception during siw_query_port() call.
CVE-2024-49945 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/ncsi: Disable the ncsi work before freeing the associated structure The work function can run after the ncsi device is freed, resulting in use-after-free bugs or kernel panic.
CVE-2024-46842 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: lpfc: Handle mailbox timeouts in lpfc_get_sfp_info The MBX_TIMEOUT return code is not handled in lpfc_get_sfp_info and the routine unconditionally frees submitted mailbox commands regardless of return status. The issue is that for MBX_TIMEOUT cases, when firmware returns SFP information at a later time, that same mailbox memory region references previously freed memory in its cmpl routine. Fix by adding checks for the MBX_TIMEOUT return code. During mailbox resource cleanup, check the mbox flag to make sure that the wait did not timeout. If the MBOX_WAKE flag is not set, then do not free the resources because it will be freed when firmware completes the mailbox at a later time in its cmpl routine. Also, increase the timeout from 30 to 60 seconds to accommodate boot scripts requiring longer timeouts.
CVE-2024-42123 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-10-21 7 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: fix double free err_addr pointer warnings In amdgpu_umc_bad_page_polling_timeout, the amdgpu_umc_handle_bad_pages will be run many times so that double free err_addr in some special case. So set the err_addr to NULL to avoid the warnings.
CVE-2023-52590 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2: Avoid touching renamed directory if parent does not change The VFS will not be locking moved directory if its parent does not change. Change ocfs2 rename code to avoid touching renamed directory if its parent does not change as without locking that can corrupt the filesystem.
CVE-2026-113869 1 Mozilla 1 Thunderbird 2026-10-20 5.4 Medium
When Thunderbird asked for a security device password (for example a smartcard PIN or the Primary Password) while decrypting an S/MIME message, the message load could finish or be cancelled while the prompt was open. This freed the message decoder while it was still in use, causing a use-after-free and a potentially exploitable crash. This vulnerability was fixed in Thunderbird 158.0.1.
CVE-2026-110095 1 Fast-uri 1 Fast-uri 2026-10-20 3.7 Low
fast-uri is a dependency-free RFC 3986 URI parser and serializer for Node.js. In versions before 2.4.8, from 3.0.0 through 3.1.8, and from 4.0.0 through 4.2.2, the normalize() and serialize() functions apply RFC 3986 dot-segment removal to the path of a relative-path reference, even though that algorithm is defined only for the merged target path during resolution, so a leading parent-directory segment can be dropped and a document-relative reference can become root-relative. An application that normalizes an attacker-supplied or user-supplied relative reference and then resolves it, or uses it as a cache, deduplication, or authorization key, can have the reference escape its intended directory and point at a different resource. The issue is fixed in fast-uri 2.4.8, 3.1.9, and 4.2.3, and users should upgrade to one of these versions or later. As a workaround, resolve a relative reference against its absolute base first and normalize the absolute result instead of normalizing the reference beforehand.

CVE-2026-94192 1 Eclipse 1 Threadx 2026-10-20 N/A
A ThreadX module allocates the control blocks of its kernel objects from the Module Manager's object pool, and can ask for that memory back by address with `txm_module_object_deallocate`. The manager released it whatever was in it, including a control block the kernel was still using. Deallocation is not deletion: the object stays on the created list for its type, a thread stays wherever it was on the ready or suspension lists and stays schedulable, and an active timer stays on the timer list. The byte pool is meanwhile free to hand those same bytes to the next allocation.
CVE-2026-92388 1 Curl 1 Curl 2026-10-20 6.5 Medium
When an FTP wildcard `LIST` operation fails, libcurl omits the restoration path meant for successful listings, leaving the write callback set to the internal listing parser and the write callback data pointing directly to the easy handle. Subsequent reuse of this handle triggers an immediate crash, and cloning it via `curl_easy_duphandle()` copies this corrupted state into the duplicate. If the original handle is subsequently freed, executing a transfer on the cloned handle causes a heap use-after-free read against the dangling handle reference; alternatively, reusing the original or cloned handle while changing only `CURLOPT_WRITEDATA` (and omitting `CURLOPT_WRITEFUNCTION`) results in type confusion, forcing the internal parser to interpret incoming server response bytes into memory at the application-supplied write data pointer.
CVE-2026-98581 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-20 4.7 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: llcp: Fix list corruption / refcount desync in nfc_llcp_recv_dm() nfc_llcp_recv_dm() handles DM(NOBOUND)/DM(REJ) for a socket that is still linked on local->connecting_sockets: it looks the socket up with nfc_llcp_connecting_sock_get(), sets sk->sk_state = LLCP_CLOSED and returns, without taking the socket lock and without unlinking the socket from the connecting_sockets list. llcp_sock_release() selects the list to unlink from by sk_state: a socket in LLCP_CONNECTING is unlinked from connecting_sockets, otherwise from the sockets list. Because recv_dm left the socket physically on connecting_sockets but in the LLCP_CLOSED state, release() takes the else branch and calls nfc_llcp_sock_unlink(&local->sockets, sk). That runs sk_del_node_init() while holding sockets.lock, i.e. it removes the socket from the connecting_sockets hlist under the wrong lock. A concurrent connect() linking another socket onto connecting_sockets under connecting_sockets.lock then mutates the same hlist unserialized, which corrupts the list and desyncs the sk_add_node()/sk_del_node_init() sock_hold()/__sock_put() pairing. An unprivileged local process holding LLCP sockets, with the DM supplied by the remote peer over an established LLCP link, can drive this to leak kernel sockets without bound (the mis-decrement goes through the non-freeing __sock_put() path, so the object is never released), leading to memory exhaustion / DoS. This is the same class of bug that was fixed in the sibling handler nfc_llcp_recv_cc() by commit b493ea2765cc ("nfc: llcp: Fix use-after-free race in nfc_llcp_recv_cc()"); recv_dm did not receive the equivalent fix. Fix it the same way: take lock_sock(), re-check that the socket is still hashed (release() may have won the race), and for the NOBOUND/REJ case unlink it from connecting_sockets before moving it to LLCP_CLOSED. The unlink drops the connecting_sockets membership reference via sk_del_node_init(), leaving the socket unhashed, so the later nfc_llcp_sock_unlink() in llcp_sock_release() becomes a no-op and no double put occurs.
