CVSS v3.1 |
| PHP has various global state that temporarily points into request memory. In some scenarios, global state may not be correctly reset, or may be repopulated after being reset. The global state may then refer to request memory even after it has been freed. Subsequent requests may read or branch on this stale state before it is fully initialized. Multiple strategies can trigger this condition and produce remote code execution (RCE). |
| libp2p is a JavaScript implementation of the libp2p networking stack. Prior to 6.0.28, the @libp2p/webrtc webRTCDirect() Node.js listener processes unauthenticated STUN Binding Requests before PeerId authentication, Noise, muxing, protocol negotiation, connection creation, or connection-manager admission. The listener in packages/transport-webrtc/src/private-to-public/utils/stun-listener.ts forwards the packet-controlled request.ufrag into DirectRTCPeerConnection.setLocalDescription, where the value is reused as an ICE password without validating its required length and character set. A short credential causes node-datachannel or libdatachannel to raise an uncaught native invalid_argument and abort the process with SIGABRT, allowing a single remote UDP packet to deny service. The confirmed impact is process termination only, with no demonstrated memory corruption, code execution, browser impact, confidentiality impact, integrity impact, or connection-limit bypass. This issue is fixed in version 6.0.28. |
| PHP uses longjmp() for out-of-memory (OOM) errors to exit the current context and abort handling of the request. Some contexts may not properly account for this scenario and leave request memory in an uninitialized state before performing an allocation. The subsequent request cleanup procedure may read or branch on this memory. Multiple OOM strategies can consistently trigger this condition and lead to remote code execution (RCE). |
| In the RingRTC library before 2.72.0 for Signal, a peer that saturates a call's FSM queue can interfere with the ability of a local hangup to tear the call (with its audio and perhaps also video track) down. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Solaris product of Oracle Systems (component: Services). The supported version that is affected is 11.4. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Solaris. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of Oracle Solaris and unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle Solaris accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.1 (Confidentiality and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:H). |
| Vulnerability in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools product of Oracle JD Edwards (component: Installation Security). Supported versions that are affected are 9.2.0.0-9.2.26.5. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools executes to compromise JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools. While the vulnerability is in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 6.5 (Confidentiality impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:N/A:N). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/sched: cls_api: reclaim an empty proto on the error path
Two racing tc filter add requests on the same chain/prio of an
unlocked classifier both run change() on the shared proto and both
can fail: the winner's tcf_chain_tp_delete_empty() attempt gives up
because the loser's handle is still in the idr, and the loser's
error path drops only its own reference without a second reclamation
attempt. The empty proto stays linked in the chain, holding the
chain reference, a block reference and the classifier module
reference until the chain or block is torn down.
Reclaim the proto on the error path of any failed request that holds
a proto reference. The reclamation is emptiness-gated:
tcf_chain_tp_delete_empty() unlinks the proto only when
delete_empty() admits it is empty, so a live shared proto is never
unlinked. A proto the request created is reclaimed unconditionally -
it is the only owner, so marking it for deletion is safe even without
a delete_empty callback. Classifiers without one (the check marks the
proto unconditionally) are rtnl-serialized, so the raced window this
guard closes cannot arise for them.
This is a follow-up to commit d4e359b3608a ("net/sched: cls_api: fix
teardown of an adopted proto on insert-race loss"), which stopped the
loser of the insert race from unlinking the winner's live proto but
left the empty-proto residual in place.
Conditions to recreate:
- CONFIG_NET_CLS_FLOWER=y; veth pair
- tc qdisc add dev veth0 ingress
- two concurrent `tc filter add dev veth0 ingress protocol ip pref 1
flower skip_sw ... action drop` (both fail in fl_hw_replace_filter
after publishing their handle in the idr); repeat in a loop
- an empty flower tp stays linked after both requests fail; visible
as a bare `filter protocol ip pref 1 flower chain 0` header in
`tc filter show` with no filter entries
- CAP_NET_ADMIN (namespace-local via unshare -Urn suffices) |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tty: vcc: zero-initialize control packet in vcc_send_ctl()
The stack-allocated struct vio_vcc pkt was partially initialized,
leaving the tag.stype_env field uninitialized before being sent via
ldc_write(), potentially leaking kernel stack data to the LDC peer. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nvdimm: pmem: keep PREFLUSH before data writes
pmem_submit_bio() records a REQ_PREFLUSH error, but continues to copy the
bio data and can later overwrite the error with a successful REQ_FUA flush.
That lets data writes run after a failed preflush and can complete the bio
successfully despite the failed ordering barrier.
Run the REQ_PREFLUSH flush synchronously before touching the bio data and
complete the bio with the flush error if it fails. Keep asynchronous flush
chaining for REQ_FUA. At that point, data copy has completed and the parent
bio can wait for the chained flush bio. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Clear buf on error in __bpf_get_task_stack
Both bpf_get_task_stack and bpf_get_task_stack_sleepable helpers that
use __bpf_get_task_stack have buf defined as ARG_PTR_TO_UNINIT_MEM
argument and we should initialize the buf on every return path.
Adding missing buf memset for __bpf_get_task_stack fail paths. This
provides deterministic buffer contents, which is useful when the buffer
is used directly as a map key. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: do not leak an hci_conn when a second LE connect is rejected
create_le_conn_complete() decides whether the failed connection is
still pending by comparing it against hci_lookup_le_connect(), which
returns the first LE connection in BT_CONNECT. That is the same
connection only while at most one is pending.
Two can be pending. Connections created on the passive scan path sit
in BT_CONNECT with HCI_CONN_SCANNING set and are invisible to
hci_lookup_le_connect() until hci_le_create_conn_sync() clears the
flag when their command is issued, so the -EBUSY guard in
hci_connect_le() does not prevent a second connection from being
queued while the first is still on the scan path. Whenever two
connections are in BT_CONNECT at once, the lookup may return one
connection while create_le_conn_complete() is reporting the failure
of the other; the early exit then drops the error and hci_conn_failed()
never runs on the connection that failed.
The controller also rejects a second HCI_OP_LE_CREATE_CONN issued
while another connection creation is still outstanding, per Core Spec
Vol 4, Part E. The spec calls for Command Disallowed there; the
bcm43438 observed here answers with an LMP/LL error code instead,
which bt_to_errno() maps to the -EPROTO (-71) in the log below.
The leaked connection stays in BT_CONNECT forever, and because
hci_connect_le() refuses to dial while hci_lookup_le_connect() finds
anything, every subsequent attempt to reach any peer fails with
-EBUSY and no command reaches the controller at all.
Seen on a bcm43438 with two BLE peers polled on the same interval
(state 5 is BT_CONNECT; both handles are UNSET ones, allocated from
the ida above HCI_CONN_HANDLE_MAX):
Bluetooth: hci1: Opcode 0x2013 failed: -71
# hcitool con
< LE 14:9C:EF:03:68:81 handle 3840 state 5 lm CENTRAL
< LE C4:D3:6A:8C:B5:38 handle 3841 state 5 lm CENTRAL
A btmon capture across the next ten minutes of connect attempts
contains no HCI_OP_LE_CREATE_CONN at all; outgoing LE connections
do not recover until the adapter is reset. With this change the same
scenario fails the rejected connection cleanly and further connects
to both peers go through.
Ask about the connection itself instead of about the device. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
gve: Account for stopped queues when reading NIC stats
We now account for the fact that the NIC might send us stats for a
subset of queues. Without this change, gve_get_ethtool_stats might make
an invalid access on the priv->stats_report->stats array. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ice: Fix improper extts handling
Extts events are disabled and enabled by the application ts2phc.
However, in case where the driver is removed when the application is
running, a specific extts event remains enabled and can cause a kernel
crash.
As a side effect, when the driver is reloaded and application is started
again, remaining extts event for the channel from a previous run will
keep firing and the message "extts on unexpected channel" might be
printed to the user.
To avoid that, extts events shall be disabled when PTP is released. |
| Vulnerability in the Helidon product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: helidon-webclient-http2). Supported versions that are affected are 4.0.0-4.5.5 and 27.0.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP/2 to compromise Helidon. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of Helidon. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.5 (Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H). |
| libIEC61850 is an open-source implementation of IEC 61850 client and server protocols including MMS, GOOSE, Sampled Values, and R-Session. Prior to 1.6.2, alternateArrayAccess in src/mms/iso_mms/server/mms_read_service.c does not validate an alternate-access sub-array range when numberOfElements is greater than zero. An out-of-range MmsValue_getElement call returns NULL, and the sub-array branch passes that value to MmsValue_isDeletable, causing a NULL pointer dereference. A remote MMS Read request can therefore crash servers whose data models contain arrays, while the single-element error path handles the same invalid index safely. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.2. |
| Vulnerability in the PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools product of Oracle PeopleSoft (component: Business Interlink). Supported versions that are affected are 8.61-8.63. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 5.9 (Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H). |
| Incorrect object recycling and re-use vulnerability in Apache Tomcat affecting HTTP/2 processing of asynchronous servlets can trigger request and/or response mix-up between users.
This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.22 through 11.0.26, from 10.1.55 through 10.1.60, from 9.0.118 through 9.0.122.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.27, 10.1.61 or 9.0.123, which fixes the issue. |
| A remote HTTP server can set a cookie that curl accepts and writes to a
Netscape cookie jar but cannot reload. On the next invocation using the same
path for `--cookie` and `--cookie-jar`, curl fails before connecting, then the
cleanup procedure replaces the jar with an empty file, deleting cookies for
unrelated domains. |
| kin-openapi is a Go project for handling OpenAPI files. Prior to 0.148.0, the OpenAPI 3.1 validation path passes YAML NaN and infinity numeric values to santhosh-tekuri/jsonschema v6.0.2 without applying kin-openapi's existing finite-number guards. A remote unauthenticated client can send an application/yaml or application/x-yaml request body containing .nan, .inf, or -.inf to an operation with a numeric constraint, causing the dependency to create and dereference a nil big.Rat during ValidateRequest. Standard net/http servers recover the panic per connection, while other hosts or application goroutines may terminate the process. This issue is fixed in version 0.148.0. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
cpu: hotplug: Preserve per instance callback errors
cpuhp_invoke_callback() unwinds earlier callbacks for the same
hotplug state when one instance fails. The rollback path currently
reuses ret, so a successful rollback can hide the original error and
make the failed transition look successful.
Keep the rollback result separate from the original error. |
