CVSS v3.1 |
| A vulnerability in Cisco Expressway Series could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to obtain sensitive information from an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient authorization checks of HTTP requests during Mobile and Remote Access (MRA) provisioning. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted URL request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to access sensitive information that they would otherwise not have authorization to access.
Note: Cisco Expressway Series refers to Cisco Expressway Core (Expressway-C) devices and Cisco Expressway Edge (Expressway-E) devices. |

| A flaw was found in Goose. When the terminal integration feature is enabled, the application captures shell command history and sends it verbatim without sanitization to configured Large Language Model (LLM) provider endpoints during queries. If a user enters sensitive data—such as API tokens, passwords, or environment variables containing secrets—in the terminal, this unredacted information is transmitted across trust boundaries. This can lead to sensitive information disclosure, exposing confidential credentials to external service providers and logs. |

| Plack::Middleware::ETag versions from 0.04 before 0.06 for Perl disclose file inode numbers in the default ETag header.
When the response body is a filehandle and the file_etag option is not set, the ETag is built from the file's inode number, modification time and size. Clients receiving affected responses may use the disclosed inode numbers to aid backend fingerprinting and correlation of files served through different URLs. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
perf: Require kernel access for text poke events
Perf events with exclude_kernel=1 can be opened without kernel perf
access. However, exclude_kernel does not suppress text-poke sideband
records. Every PERF_RECORD_TEXT_POKE is marked PERF_RECORD_MISC_KERNEL
and contains a raw kernel instruction address.
An unprivileged task can therefore open and mmap a task-local software
event with text_poke=1. Both opening a count-only tracepoint event and
configuring UDP GRO for ESP-in-UDP cause updates to inline static calls;
the observer receives the relocated addresses of the modified instructions.
For a known kernel image, any such address reveals the runtime kernel
text base despite KASLR.
Call perf_allow_kernel() whenever attr.text_poke is set, regardless of
exclude_kernel. Events that neither monitor kernel execution nor request
text-poke records retain their existing permissions. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/virtio: use the DMA API for resource backing on Xen
On a Xen PV domain page addresses bear no relation to the real machine
addresses the host would have to use to reach it.
virtio_ring.c handles this correctly, vring_use_map_api() returns true
for any xen_domain() regardless of VIRTIO_F_ACCESS_PLATFORM.
virtio-gpu makes the same decision independently, but its copy
looks only at the feature bit:
bool use_dma_api = !virtio_has_dma_quirk(vgdev->vdev);
QEMU does not set iommu_platform on virtio-vga by default, so
VIRTIO_F_ACCESS_PLATFORM is not negotiated, use_dma_api is false, and
virtio_gpu_object_shmem_init() describes the framebuffer's backing pages
to the host with sg_phys(). Those are guest-physical addresses. In a PV
domain they resolve, on the host side, to pages belonging to some other
domain, so the host scans out unrelated memory.
Move the decision into virtio_gpu_use_dma_api() and give it the
xen_domain() check, like vring_use_map_api() has. This
additionally enables the dma_sync_sgtable_for_device() calls in
virtgpu_vq.c, which are required for correctness whenever swiotlb
is in play.
Reproduced with a Xen 4.21 PV dom0 nested inside QEMU 8.2 with
virtio-vga, on both a distro 6.8 kernel and 6.18 LTS. A PVH dom0
works fine and doesn't need this fix because it is identity-mapped,
only PV dom0s are affected. |

| virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments. Prior to 21.14.9, download_wheel() writes package-index downloads directly into the reusable wheel/house cache before selecting a verification target from pip's textual Saved output. With default-index digest comparison enabled, a controlled package index can inject a misleading Saved line through a discarded link's data-requires-python attribute; this forged-line variant also requires knowledge of an absolute path to the genuine bundled wheel. The wrong path can then be hashed, while a digest mismatch leaves the rejected archive in the cache for later selection without verification. A separate rejected-cache-file variant requires control over downloaded data or archive selection but not the forged-line prerequisites. Explicit custom-index exceptions are outside the promised PyPI comparison, and the issue does not independently bypass TLS or establish control of default PyPI. This issue is fixed in version 21.14.9. |
| virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments. Prior to 21.14.9, PipInvoke.get_pip_install_cmd() handles --seeder pip --download by calling get_wheel(download=False) and then allowing pip to consult the configured index, bypassing virtualenv's download_wheel() and verify_wheel_digest() path. When virtualenv's default-index PyPI digest comparison remains enabled, an index candidate matching the bundled package and version can therefore be selected without comparison to PyPI SHA-256 metadata. Explicit custom-index settings already opt out of that comparison and remain outside this verification-bypass claim; the demonstrated configuration used a non-PyPI index while leaving the index environment variables unset so the comparison policy remained active. This condition does not independently defeat TLS or establish control of the index response. This issue is fixed in version 21.14.9. |
| ** UNSUPPORTED WHEN ASSIGNED ** Exposure of sensitive system information to an unauthorized control sphere vulnerability in Apache Cocoon. An unauthenticated user could gain access to diagnostic interfaces, including triggering of cache, exposure of (verbose) debug logging and profile information.
This issue affects Apache Cocoon: all versions.
As this project is retired, we do not plan to release a version that fixes this issue. Users are recommended to find an alternative or restrict access to the instance to trusted users.
NOTE: This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. |
| Nginx UI is a web user interface for the Nginx web server. From 2.0.0 until 2.5.0, the self-upgrade mechanism validates a downloaded binary only with a same-origin digest obtained from the same upgrade mirror. A compromised mirror or network attacker able to alter both responses can supply a malicious executable and matching digest. An operator-triggered upgrade is required, and the application installs and runs the attacker-controlled code in the Nginx UI process context on the next upgrade. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.0. |
| In the Eclipse Adoptium website (adoptium.net), in every deployment built from commit 0b24ea1 (2025-06-18) up to the fix in commit cbb53cf (2026-09-24), the post-download page /[locale]/download takes a download URL from the "link" query parameter and automatically navigates to it with a meta http-equiv="refresh". The URL is checked against a list of trusted prefixes using String.startsWith() on the raw string, while the browser applies RFC 3986 dot-segment normalisation before navigating, so a value such as https://github.com/adoptium/temurin/../../attacker/malware/releases/download/v1/jdk.exe passes the check but resolves to an attacker-controlled repository. A victim who follows a crafted adoptium.net link is shown the genuine "Thank you for downloading Eclipse Temurin" page while their browser downloads a binary of the attacker's choosing |

| A flaw was found in oc-mirror's legacy v1 catalog cache rebuild. When the --build-catalog-cache flag is used, oc-mirror extracts an opm binary from the remote operator catalog image and executes it on the host without verifying its signature, digest, or integrity. An attacker who publishes a malicious catalog image to a registry could supply a trojanized opm binary that is executed with the privileges of the user running oc-mirror, resulting in arbitrary code execution on the mirroring host. |
