CVSS v3.1 |
| pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.21.1, an attacker can craft a PDF containing image data labeled with the /DCTDecode filter that causes Pillow to select and invoke an unintended image parser when the image is loaded. Environments without the optional Pillow dependency are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 6.21.1. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in massCodeIO massCode 5.10. Affected is an unknown function of the file src/main/api/index.ts of the component Local HTTP Service. Such manipulation leads to information disclosure. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The name of the patch is d25d8fa3f5a1e34285c8634f18729650c0c05cda. It is advisable to implement a patch to correct this issue. |
| GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 17.6.5 before 19.3.6, 19.4 before 19.4.3, and 19.5 before 19.5.1 that, under certain conditions, an unauthenticated user could have retrieved sensitive internal server credentials due to improper filtering of internal response headers. |
| A sensitive information disclosure vulnerability in the cloud-client daemon of Deco BE63 allows authenticated attackers to retrieve the plaintext TP-Link ID account password.
Successful exploitation may allow attackers to compromise the associated cloud account and perform unauthorized actions on behalf of the affected user. |
| In Splunk SOAR versions below 8.7.0, an unauthenticated user with access to encrypted credential data from an affected Splunk SOAR instance could submit Basic authentication data to the Representational State Transfer (REST) API to expose and decrypt that encrypted credential data.
The vulnerability is possible because Splunk SOAR decrypts encrypted Basic authentication values before completing authentication checks.
The attack requires the unauthenticated user to have encrypted credential data from an affected Splunk SOAR instance. The unauthenticated user should not be able to exploit the vulnerability at will.
For more information see Using the REST API reference for Splunk SOAR (On-premises) (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-soar/soar-on-premises/rest-api-reference/8.5.0/using-the-splunk-soar-rest-api/using-the-rest-api-reference-for-splunk-soar-on-premises) in the Splunk documentation. |
| In Splunk SOAR versions below 8.7.0, a user that holds a role with the Users and Roles view permission could use the Representational State Transfer (REST) API to infer authentication token values for other users. If the inferred token grants administrative access, that user could gain administrative access to the Splunk SOAR instance.
The vulnerability is possible because the REST API accepts caller-controlled query filters on sensitive user record fields.
For more information see Using the REST API reference for Splunk SOAR (On-premises) (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-soar/soar-on-premises/rest-api-reference/7.1.0/using-the-splunk-soar-rest-api/using-the-rest-api-reference-for-splunk-soar-on-premises), Query for Data (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-soar/soar-on-premises/rest-api-reference/7.1.0/using-the-splunk-soar-rest-api/query-for-data), and Manage roles and permissions in Splunk SOAR (On-premises) (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-soar/soar-on-premises/administer-soar-on-premises/6.4.0/manage-your-splunk-soar-on-premises-users-and-accounts/manage-roles-and-permissions-in-splunk-soar-on-premises) in the Splunk documentation. |
| In Splunk SOAR versions below 8.7.0, a user that has the "Observer" role could use query filters in the Representational State Transfer (REST) API to infer password hashes and authorization tokens for other users.
The information disclosure is possible because Splunk SOAR applies REST API query filters to user records before it protects sensitive fields from query processing.
For more information see Using the REST API reference for Splunk SOAR (On-premises) (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-soar/soar-on-premises/rest-api-reference/8.5.0/using-the-splunk-soar-rest-api/using-the-rest-api-reference-for-splunk-soar-on-premises), Query for Data (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-soar/soar-on-premises/rest-api-reference/7.1.0/using-the-splunk-soar-rest-api/query-for-data), and Manage roles and permissions in Splunk SOAR (On-premises) (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-soar/soar-on-premises/administer-soar-on-premises/8.5.0/manage-your-splunk-soar-on-premises-users-and-accounts/manage-roles-and-permissions-in-splunk-soar-on-premises) in the Splunk documentation. |

| Improper input validation in Bluetooth in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker to potentially execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Fix BPF_F_CPU validation for sparse CPU IDs
BPF_F_CPU stores the target CPU ID in the upper 32 bits of the map
operation flags. bpf_map_check_op_flags() currently compares that ID
with num_possible_cpus(), which is the number of possible CPUs rather
than a bound on CPU IDs.
On an arm64 QEMU guest with a CPU device-tree hole, the possible CPU
mask was 0,2-3. A userspace program using raw bpf() syscalls creates
a BPF_MAP_TYPE_PERCPU_ARRAY and performs update and lookup operations
for each CPU by setting BPF_F_CPU and the CPU ID in the flags.
With the old check, CPU 1 is incorrectly accepted while valid CPU 3 is
rejected with -ERANGE. The CPU 1 update then reaches the per-CPU map
access path and triggers:
Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address ...
pc : __pi_memcpy_generic+0x5c/0x22c
lr : bpf_percpu_array_update+0x2dc/0x2e8
Call trace:
__pi_memcpy_generic
bpf_map_update_value
map_update_elem
__sys_bpf
Check the CPU ID against nr_cpu_ids and cpu_possible() instead. This
rejects CPU IDs outside the valid range and CPUs absent from the
possible mask, while allowing valid sparse CPU IDs. |
| Observable discrepancy in Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information over a network. |
| The smartphone application "Vehicle Inspection Certificate Viewer" contains a vulnerability in which sensitive information may be included in data transmitted by the application, potentially leading to the exposure of API integration credentials such as an access ID and access key. |
| A security vulnerability in HPE NonStop HTTP WEBSERVER can cause memory corruption which may result in a system halt. |
| The PeachPay — Payments & Express Checkout for WooCommerce (supports Stripe, PayPal, Square, Authorize.net, NMI) WordPress plugin before 1.120.70 does not perform any capability or ownership check before returning an order's secret key in response to an unauthenticated request, allowing anyone to retrieve the key for any paid order and use it to view that order's customer name, email address, postal address and contents. |
| The ThirstyAffiliates WordPress plugin before 3.12.1 does not check the status or type of the object requested by its link redirect tracking handler, allowing unauthenticated attackers to disclose the destination URLs of unpublished affiliate links and to record fabricated click statistics. |
| Improper input validation in WebShare in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker to potentially execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| Out-of-bounds read in Windows Win32 Kernel Subsystem allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally. |
| In OpenStack Cinder through 29.0.0, cross-project information disclosure can occur in the Messages API. A non-admin user with the project-scoped 'member' or 'reader' role making the Block Storage API v3.3 "List messages" call finds the non-expired user messages for other projects included in the response, resulting in the leakage of UUIDs of resources owned by other projects, in addition to the user message about the other projects' resources (which, by design, are sanitized generic messages). All Cinder deployments are affected. |
