| A buffer overflow in RandR
ChangeProviderProperty requests in X.Org X Server before 2.1.25 and XWayland before 24.4.14 could be used by authenticated X clients to crash or execute code within the X server context. |
| vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models. Prior to 0.32.0, ImageMediaIO passes attacker-controlled image bytes to Pillow through Image.open(BytesIO(data)) without restricting decoder selection, and the MIME label does not constrain the selected format. Image-capable request paths through parse_image() and fetch_image() can therefore dispatch an EPS payload to host components. A host with Ghostscript affected by CVE-2024-29510 can execute commands with the vLLM process's privileges, while environments using Pillow 12.0.0 through 12.2.0 can trigger CVE-2026-59203 and exhaust media-loading workers. Deployments without the applicable vulnerable dependency are not affected by that corresponding impact. This issue is fixed in version 0.32.0. |
| A logic issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. A local attacker may be able to elevate their privileges. |
| Photoshop Desktop is affected by an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. |
| An out-of-bounds write issue was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. Processing a maliciously crafted file may lead to arbitrary code execution. |
| ProtobufParser parses length-prefixed protobuf string and bytes fields by checking (_inputPtr + len) <= _inputEnd and then, on the fast path, calling _finishShortText(len). Both use 32-bit signed integer arithmetic. When an attacker supplies a varint decoding to a length near Integer.MAX_VALUE, _inputPtr + len overflows to a negative value, the bounds check passes, and _finishShortText(len) reaches TextBuffer.expandCurrentSegment(len), which performs Arrays.copyOf with no cap and throws OutOfMemoryError: Requested array size exceeds VM limit.
The JVM refuses arrays larger than Integer.MAX_VALUE - 8 before consulting available heap, so -Xmx tuning does not mitigate the issue. StreamReadConstraints.maxStringLength and maxDocumentLength do not gate this path: a 33-byte payload is far below any document-length cap and the string-length check does not fire before the allocation. This was confirmed empirically against shipping artifacts with maxStringLength, maxDocumentLength and maxNestingDepth all configured.
A February 2026 hardening commit added the equivalent overflow guard to the packed-array-length and message-length paths but left the string-length call sites unguarded. No privileges or user interaction beyond the ability to submit data for parsing are required. |
| ProtobufParser._readStringKey() reads the length prefix of a protobuf map entry's string key into an attacker-controlled int and then checks (_inputPtr + len) <= _inputEnd using signed arithmetic. For values near Integer.MAX_VALUE the addition overflows to a negative value and the check passes even when the input contains no key data. The parser then calls _finishShortText(len), which expands the text buffer to the declared length via TextBuffer.expandCurrentSegment and Arrays.copyOf, throwing OutOfMemoryError: Requested array size exceeds VM limit.
An 8-byte malformed message containing a map entry with a declared key length of 0x7FFFFFFF is sufficient. Configured StreamReadConstraints, including maxStringLength, maxNameLength, maxDocumentLength and maxNestingDepth, do not prevent the failure. Applications running with -XX:+ExitOnOutOfMemoryError terminate the JVM.
This is the same integer-overflow pattern addressed for other call sites in the remediation associated with CVE-2026-104016 and CVE-2026-104017; the map-key call site was corrected on the 3.x branches only, leaving the corresponding 2.x branches unguarded. Release lines 2.18, 2.19 and 2.20 do not contain _readStringKey() and are not affected by this vector. No privileges or user interaction beyond the ability to submit data for parsing are required. The 3.0 release line and 3.1.0-3.1.5 / 3.2.0-3.2.1 do not contain _readStringKey() and are therefore not affected; the method first appears in 3.1.6 and 3.2.2, mirroring its introduction at 2.21.6 on the 2.x side. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Outside In Technology product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: Outside In Core). The supported version that is affected is 8.5.8. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Outside In Technology. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Outside In Technology accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a partial denial of service (partial DOS) of Oracle Outside In Technology. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.2 (Confidentiality and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:L). |

| virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments. From 20.26.6 until 21.14.2, ViaTemplateActivator.instantiate_template() replaces placeholders one key at a time across the complete activation template, so trigger names such as __VIRTUAL_NAME__, __VIRTUAL_ENV__, or __VIRTUAL_PROMPT__ inside an already substituted and quoted environment path or prompt can be replaced during a later pass. The later value's quoting can close the earlier literal and execute the remaining path when a user activates the environment through bash, fish, xonsh, or activate_this.py. The distinct csh prompt-display token __VIRTUAL_PROMPT_DISPLAY_TCSH__ can instead break the generated script without establishing command execution. The attacker must influence the destination path or --prompt, and a value without a relevant placeholder name does not trigger this mechanism. This issue is fixed in version 21.14.2. |

| A heap buffer overflow caused by mismatching size calculations between XkbAllocNames and ChangeKeycodeRange in X.org X server before 2.1.25 and XWayland before 24.1.14 could be used by authenticated X clients to crash or potentially execute code in X server context. |
| Uncontrolled recursion in the ASN.1 parser (Asn1InputStream, Asn1StreamParser) in Legion of the Bouncy Castle Inc. bc-csharp before 2.7.0 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service via a crafted ASN.1 encoding of deeply nested constructed elements (for example SEQUENCE inside SEQUENCE, in definite-length DER or indefinite-length BER form), because each nesting level is parsed by a further recursive call with no bound on depth. About 2,000 levels (8 KB of DER) are enough to exhaust a 1.5 MB thread stack, the .NET main-thread default on Windows, and raise a StackOverflowException, which .NET cannot catch and which terminates the whole process; on threads with larger stacks, parse time instead grows quadratically with depth (about 9 seconds of CPU for a 64 KB input). Any path that parses untrusted ASN.1 is exposed, including X.509 certificates and CRLs, CMS/PKCS#7, PKCS#8/PKCS#12, OCSP and TLS Certificate messages. |
| Abusing the federated share endpoint, an attacker can write arbitrary rows into the oc_share_external database table. These rows persist indefinitely — there is no automatic cleanup mechanism. Three distinct denial-of-service conditions follow from this write primitive, all triggered from the same unauthenticated source and all self-renewing on a 24-hour cycle for as long as the injected rows remain in the database. |
| Vulnerability in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools product of Oracle JD Edwards (component: Interoperability SEC). Supported versions that are affected are 9.2.0.0-9.2.26.5. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via TLS to compromise JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools accessible data as well as unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.4 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N). |
| Release of unverified plaintext in the CCM (CcmBlockCipher) and DSTU 7624 CCM (KCcmBlockCipher) AEAD modes in Legion of the Bouncy Castle Inc. bc-csharp before 2.7.0 allows a remote attacker to obtain decryptions of ciphertexts of their choosing via forged messages sent to an application that lets the output buffer of a failed decryption be observed, for example through buffer reuse or logging, because decryption wrote the recovered plaintext into the caller-supplied output buffer before checking the authentication tag and left it there when the check failed. Only decryption into a caller-supplied buffer is affected; methods that return a newly allocated array are not. |
| Loop with unreachable exit condition in the PKCS#12 key derivation (Pkcs12ParametersGenerator) in Legion of the Bouncy Castle Inc. bc-csharp before 2.7.0 allows an attacker who can supply a PKCS#12 (PFX) file, or a PKCS#8 encrypted private key that uses a PKCS#12 password-based encryption algorithm, to cause a denial of service through CPU exhaustion via an iteration count of zero or below, because the derivation loop ran until its counter equalled the count, so for such a count it wrapped through about 2^32 iterations before the MAC or the password could be checked. A 75-byte PFX file with a negative MacData iteration count kept Pkcs12Store.Load busy for many minutes. |
| A buffer overflow when handling pointer barriers in the XFIXES extension in X.Org X server before 21.1.25 and XWayland before 24.1.14 could be used by authenticated X clients to crash or potentially execute code in X server context. |
| Improper certificate validation in PkixNameConstraintValidator (ExtractHostFromURL) in Legion of the Bouncy Castle Inc. bc-csharp before 2.7.0 allows a name-constrained subordinate CA, or anyone able to obtain certificates with chosen subjectAltName URIs from such a CA, to bypass permitted or excluded uniformResourceIdentifier name constraints during certification path validation via a URI whose path, query, fragment or userinfo contains characters such as '@' or ':', because the host was extracted by string slicing without first isolating the RFC 3986 authority component, so the host compared against the constraints could differ from the URI's actual host. |
| Improper certificate validation in the directoryName name-constraint check (PkixNameConstraintValidator.WithinDNSubtree) in Legion of the Bouncy Castle Inc. bc-csharp before 2.7.0 allows an attacker who controls, or can have certificates issued by, a name-constrained intermediate CA to get certificates accepted by PKIX path validation whose subject distinguished name, or a directoryName subjectAltName, lies outside the CA's permitted subtrees, via a name that places other RDNs ahead of a copy of the permitted RDN sequence, because the check looks for the constraint's first RDN anywhere in the name and compares the remaining RDNs from that position, instead of requiring the constraint to be an initial prefix of the name as RFC 5280 sections 4.2.1.10 and 7.1 require. |
