CVSS v3.1 |
| A vulnerability in Apache Answer.
This issue affects Apache Answer: through 2.0.2.
The question operation controller gates hide/show operations on the wrong permission check result (the unpin permission instead of the hide permission), so in custom role configurations that separate these permissions, a user granted only question.unpin can hide or restore questions without holding question.hide or question.show.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.0.3, which fixes the issue. |
| The ForgeRock client fails to correctly validate refresh tokens. This allows a refresh token to be treated as a valid access token, enabling its use for consuming protected resources. This bypasses the intended security control that requires valid client credentials in addition to a refresh token to obtain a new access token.
An attacker who obtains a stolen or exposed refresh token can leverage this vulnerability to directly access protected resources. This is possible because the standard security flow requiring client credentials to exchange a refresh token for an access token is circumvented. |
| ProjectSend 2.0.0 before 2.7.0 contains an incorrect authorization vulnerability that allows restricted API token holders to change the token owner's credentials via PATCH /api/v1/users/{user}. Attackers with a token limited to manage_users and edit_users can set a new owner password, clear two-factor authentication, and sign in interactively with the owner's full role permissions. |
| Use-after-free in the DOM: Core & HTML component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox ESR 153.4, Thunderbird 157, Thunderbird 140.17, Thunderbird 153.4, Firefox 157, Firefox ESR 115.42, and Firefox ESR 140.17. |
| JIT miscompilation in the JavaScript: WebAssembly component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox ESR 153.4, Thunderbird 157, Thunderbird 140.17, Thunderbird 153.4, Firefox 157, and Firefox ESR 140.17. |
| JIT miscompilation in the JavaScript Engine component. This vulnerability was fixed in Thunderbird 157 and Firefox 157. |
| Privilege escalation due to use-after-free in the Graphics: WebRender component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox ESR 153.4, Thunderbird 157, Thunderbird 140.17, Thunderbird 153.4, Firefox 157, Firefox ESR 115.42, and Firefox ESR 140.17. |
| Coder from 2.0.0 before 2.34.8 contains an incorrect authorization vulnerability in the acl_allow rule of coderd/rbac/policy.rego, which does not verify organization membership for per-user ACL entries, and organization member removal does not scrub those entries. Authenticated users removed from an organization can keep accessing previously granted org-scoped resources such as templates and workspaces via the API. |
| ERPNext is a free and open source Enterprise Resource Planning tool. Prior to 15.121.0 and 16.34.0, certain endpoints for status modification fail to enforce proper authorization checks. A low-privileged authenticated user can invoke state-changing whitelisted methods without required write, submit, cancel, document, or role checks. This allows the user to modify data beyond the user's permitted role. This issue is fixed in versions 15.121.0 and 16.34.0. |
| A security flaw has been discovered in vraj404 Criminal-Management-System up to 2808d057e7ddc5295519a487365b0cacfd0ba8c4. Affected is an unknown function of the file search.php. The manipulation of the argument Search results in sql injection. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. This product implements a rolling release for ongoing delivery, which means version information for affected or updated releases is unavailable. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
io_uring: fix task_work add use-after-free with SQPOLL
For SQPOLL, the sqpoll thread runs task_work off its own list and
doesn't need to be told about it, so it can pop and complete a request
as soon as mpscq_push() has published it. If that was the last request
holding the ring alive, io_ring_exit_work() then frees the ctx, stops
the thread, and with it the tctx, while io_req_normal_work_add() is
still looking at both after the push:
BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in io_req_normal_work_add+0x439/0x510
Read of size 4 at addr ff11000000ca0000 by task repro/55
(...)
BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in queue_work_on+0x25/0x70
Write of size 8 at addr ff11000000c3bd00 by task repro/55
Hold an RCU read lock across the add, like io_req_local_work_add() already
does, and have io_ring_exit_work() wait for a grace period for SQPOLL rings
as well before freeing the ctx. |
| IceCMS through 4.1.5 contains an unauthenticated sql injection vulnerability that allows remote attackers to inject SQL by supplying a crafted num path parameter to /WebResource/findresourcebynum. Attackers can append SQL after the LIMIT clause concatenated via QueryWrapper.last() to extract database contents using union-based or blind techniques. |
| ClickVisual through 1.1.2 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the /api/v2/reports handlers that allows authenticated low-privileged users to access ClickHouse instances they were not granted. Attackers can iterate the instance-id parameter in ReportSourceDatabases, ReportSourceTables, ReportTableColumns and WhereCheckRun to enumerate schemas and infer row counts of restricted tables. |
| Piranha CMS through 12.2 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the Piranha.Manager LanguageApiController that allows any authenticated manager user to list, create, edit and delete site languages without the granular Language, LanguageAdd, LanguageEdit or LanguageDelete permissions. Attackers can call the manager/api/language Get, Save and Delete actions directly to remove languages and reassign sites to the default, affecting localized content instance-wide. |
| The PickPlugins Product Designer for WooCommerce WordPress plugin through 1.0.40 does not perform any capability check and its nonce verification is inverted, accepting requests with an invalid or absent nonce while rejecting valid ones, and it does not validate the post the data is written to, allowing unauthenticated users to insert design template data into the metadata of any post on the site. |
| JIT miscompilation in the JavaScript: WebAssembly component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 158, Firefox ESR 153.5, Thunderbird 158, and Thunderbird 153.5. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nvme: fix command effects log lifetime for multipath heads
KASAN reported a use-after-free when an I/O passthrough command was sent
through a multipath namespace head after the controller path that first
created the head had been removed:
BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in nvme_command_effects+0x192/0x200 [nvme_core]
Read of size 4 at addr ffff888141b14400 by task nvme/19811
nvme_command_effects+0x192/0x200 [nvme_core]
nvme_cmd_allowed+0x7e/0x1b0 [nvme_core]
nvme_user_cmd.constprop.0+0x1b5/0x450 [nvme_core]
nvme_ns_head_chr_ioctl+0xf4/0x2a0 [nvme_core]
Move the log cache to the subsystem, with one entry per command set. Both
controllers and namespace heads hold subsystem references, keeping their
log pointers valid until subsystem release. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
block: reject polled dio with user integrity metadata
IOCB_HAS_METADATA leaves iocb->private as a uio_meta, while
iocb_bio_iopoll() expects a bio. Since 2729a60bbfb9, metadata I/O
always uses __blkdev_direct_IO(), which never publishes the bio for
polling, so IOPOLL calls bio_poll() on the uio_meta.
Reproducer: io_uring IOPOLL plus a PI attribute on an integrity device
(scsi_debug dif=1 dix=1). KASAN reports:
Oops: general protection fault, probably for non-canonical

| Access of resource using incompatible type ('type confusion') in Desktop Window Manager allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| libIEC61850 is an open-source implementation of IEC 61850 client and server protocols including MMS, GOOSE, Sampled Values, and R-Session. Prior to 1.6.2, parseUserInformation in src/mms/iso_acse/acse.c checks len for zero before validating the negative bufPos returned by BerDecoder_decodeLength for a truncated long-form length. The continue path therefore swallows the error, reads buffer[-1], resets parsing to the beginning, and repeats the same malformed state. An unauthenticated remote peer can send a malformed AARE PDU during association to cause an infinite CPU loop under a normal allocator or a one-byte out-of-bounds read and process abort when the preceding byte is inaccessible. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.2. |
