CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfs: Fix read abandonment during retry
Under certain circumstances, all the remaining subrequests from a read
request will get abandoned during retry. The abandonment process expects
the 'subreq' variable to be set to the place to start abandonment from, but
it doesn't always have a useful value (it will be uninitialised on the
first pass through the loop and it may point to a deleted subrequest on
later passes).
Fix the first jump to "abandon:" to set subreq to the start of the first
subrequest expected to need retry (which, in this abandonment case, turned
out unexpectedly to no longer have NEED_RETRY set).
Also clear the subreq pointer after discarding superfluous retryable
subrequests to cause an oops if we do try to access it. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
NFSD: Hold net reference for the lifetime of /proc/fs/nfs/exports fd
The /proc/fs/nfs/exports proc entry is created at module init
and persists for the module's lifetime. exports_proc_open()
captures the caller's current network namespace and stores
its svc_export_cache in seq->private, but takes no reference
on the namespace. If the namespace is subsequently torn down
(e.g. container destruction after the opener does setns() to a
different namespace), nfsd_net_exit() calls nfsd_export_shutdown()
which frees the cache. Subsequent reads on the still-open fd
dereference the freed cache_detail, walking a freed hash table.
Hold a reference on the struct net for the lifetime of the open
file descriptor. This prevents nfsd_net_exit() from running --
and thus prevents nfsd_export_shutdown() from freeing the cache
-- while any exports fd is open. cache_detail already stores
its net pointer (cd->net, set by cache_create_net()), so
exports_release() can retrieve it without additional per-file
storage. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: shaper: protect late read accesses to the hierarchy
We look up a netdev during prep of Netlink ops (pre- callbacks)
and take a ref to it. Then later in the body of the callback
we take its lock or RCU which are the actual protections.
This is not proper, a conversion from a ref to a locked netdev
must include a liveness check (a check if the netdev hasn't been
unregistered already). Fix the read cases (those under RCU).
Writes needs a separate change to protect from creating the
hierarchy after flush has already run. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mtd: rawnand: serialize lock/unlock against other NAND operations
nand_lock() and nand_unlock() call into chip->ops.lock_area/unlock_area
without holding the NAND device lock. On controllers that implement
SET_FEATURES via multiple low-level PIO commands, these can race with
concurrent UBI/UBIFS background erase/write operations that hold the
device lock, resulting in cmd_pending conflicts on the NAND controller.
Add nand_get_device()/nand_release_device() around the lock/unlock
operations to serialize them against all other NAND controller access. |
| A vulnerability was identified in satya-vinay Events-Management-System up to 437c77ceb69bf9fe2e3f4f46f7871b83f425383a. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file dodelete.php of the component Registration-Delete Handler. Such manipulation of the argument ID leads to sql injection. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. This product implements a rolling release for ongoing delivery, which means version information for affected or updated releases is unavailable. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| OneUptime 14.0.2 before 14.0.69 contains an incorrect authorization vulnerability that allows authenticated project members to act on clusters outside their scope by exploiting project-wide permission checks. Attackers can call the AI access test, agent reset, kubectl plan approval and incident AI conversation features to learn agent RBAC permissions, disconnect agents, approve kubectl changes, or run commands on unauthorized resources. |
| Missing Authorization vulnerability in Kit Kit (formerly ConvertKit) convertkit allows Exploiting Incorrectly Configured Access Control Security Levels.This issue affects Kit (formerly ConvertKit): from n/a through 3.4.6. |
| Missing Authorization vulnerability in ThimPress LearnPress learnpress allows Exploiting Incorrectly Configured Access Control Security Levels.This issue affects LearnPress: from n/a through 4.4.10. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
NFSD: NFSv4 file creation neglects setting ACL
An NFSv4 client that sets an ACL with a named principal during file
creation retrieves the ACL afterwards, and finds that it is only a
default ACL (based on the mode bits) and not the ACL that was
requested during file creation. This violates RFC 8881 section
6.4.1.3: "the ACL attribute is set as given".
The issue occurs in nfsd_create_setattr(), which calls
nfsd_attrs_valid() to determine whether to call nfsd_setattr().
However, nfsd_attrs_valid() checks only for iattr changes and
security labels, but not POSIX ACLs. When only an ACL is present,
the function returns false, nfsd_setattr() is skipped, and the
POSIX ACL is never applied to the inode.
Subsequently, when the client retrieves the ACL, the server finds
no POSIX ACL on the inode and returns one generated from the file's
mode bits rather than returning the originally-specified ACL. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
NFS: Automounted filesystems should inherit ro,noexec,nodev,sync flags
When a filesystem is being automounted, it needs to preserve the
user-set superblock mount options, such as the "ro" flag. |
| A weakness has been identified in vraj404 Criminal Management System up to 2808d057e7ddc5295519a487365b0cacfd0ba8c4. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file home.php of the component Submission Form. This manipulation of the argument id/name/offName/crime/dob/arrDate/crimeDate/sex/address/folder/more causes sql injection. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. This product adopts a rolling release strategy to maintain continuous delivery. Therefore, version details for affected or updated releases cannot be specified. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| Use after free in Compositing in Google Chrome prior to 155.0.8059.84 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| Incorrect authorization in Windows SMB Client allows an authorized attacker to bypass a security feature locally. |
| Missing authorization in the Sieve notify action (6.2.22 through 6.3.6) and in the mail-rule Reply action (6.0.0 through 6.3.6) of Progressive Robot hMailServer allows an authenticated user to send mail through the server as any address. A Sieve notify sends a notification message, and its :from tag names the sender; the server set the notification's From header to that :from as the script wrote it, without checking that the address belongs to the account - the check that the Sieve vacation action applies to its own :from, and that the server applies to the sender of mail queued over COM or sent from the webmail. An account that can store a Sieve script (over ManageSieve, the REST API's self-service filter, or the administration interface) could therefore have the server send a notification from any address, on this server or anywhere; and where the claimed address is at a domain the server hosts with DKIM signing enabled, the server signed the notification with that domain's DKIM key, because it signs by the From header's domain, producing forged mail aligned to pass the domain's DMARC policy. The notify action and this behaviour were introduced in 6.2.22. In the mail-rule engine, a rule's Reply was likewise sent from whatever address the action named, whoever the rule belonged to, so that an account acting on its own rules over COM, a domain administrator, or an API key confined to a domain (over the REST API from 6.3.4) could have a domain's or an account's rule reply from any address, signed, where that address is at a domain the server hosts with DKIM signing enabled, with that domain's key. |
| Missing authorization in the Sieve editheader action (6.2.22 through 6.3.6) and in the mail-rule Set header value action (6.0.0 through 6.3.6) of Progressive Robot hMailServer allows an authenticated user to make the server send mail as any address, DKIM-signed where the address is at a domain the server signs for. A Sieve script's editheader (addheader/deleteheader) could add or delete any header field except Received and Return-Path, and the server applies a script's header edits before it queues a redirect, so the redirected copy is sent as the script left it. The server signs a message's first delivery pass as the domain named in its From header wherever it signs DKIM for that domain and the message carries no signature of it. A script could therefore delete and re-add From - another account's address, or anyone's at a hosted domain - and redirect, so the server sent the message in that name and, for a hosted domain, signed it with that domain's DKIM key, a forgery aligned to pass the domain's DMARC; or, where another sender's domain is one the server signs for, delete the DKIM-Signature that sender's message arrived with, alter a field, and redirect, so the server re-signed the altered message as that sender's domain. editheader placed no restriction on From, Sender, Resent-From, Resent-Sender or DKIM-Signature. The editheader action was introduced in 6.2.22. In the mail-rule engine, a domain's or an account's rule's Set header value action could likewise set From, Sender, Resent-From, Resent-Sender or DKIM-Signature ahead of a forward or a copy, whoever the rule belonged to, so that an account acting on its own rules over COM, a domain administrator, or an API key confined to a domain (over the REST API from 6.3.4) could have the server forward or copy a message in the name of any address, signed, where that address is at a domain the server hosts with DKIM signing enabled, with that domain's key. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: ath6kl: fix use-after-free in aggr_reset_state()
The aggr_reset_state() function uses timer_delete() (non-synchronous)
for the aggregation timer before proceeding to delete TID state and
before the structure is freed by callers like aggr_module_destroy().
If the timer callback (aggr_timeout) is executing when aggr_reset_state()
is called, the callback will continue to access aggr_conn fields like
rx_tid[] and stat[] which may be freed immediately after by
kfree(aggr_info->aggr_conn) in aggr_module_destroy().
Additionally, the timer callback can re-arm itself via mod_timer() while
aggr_reset_state() is running, creating a more complex race condition.
Use timer_delete_sync() instead to ensure any running timer callback
has completed before returning. |
| SQL injection (SQLi) vulnerability—specifically a UNION-based vulnerability—in the Integratec application that affects the sInfo parameter sent via POST to the endpoint /login/ap_Login.aspx/start. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow an attacker to steal data from the database, such as credentials and user information, and cause errors and partial denial-of-service conditions. Furthermore, this vulnerability could facilitate other types of follow-up attacks, such as data exfiltration or privilege escalation. |
| MISP contains a vulnerability in the handling of module plugin settings. When the server rebuilds module-supplied settings for API consumption, it drops the redacted and cli_only flags that a module declares in its own configuration metadata.
As a result:
- A module that marks a setting (such as an API key) as redacted still has its value returned in full by the servers/getSetting and servers/serverSettingsEdit endpoints, exposing sensitive credentials to any authenticated user who can read server settings.
- A module that marks a setting as cli_only (intended to be editable only via the command-line interface) can still be modified through the web API, bypassing the intended access restriction.
An authenticated user with access to server settings can therefore read sensitive module credentials and modify settings that the module author intended to restrict to CLI-only access.
Affected: <2.5.48 |
| MISP contains an access control flaw in the proposal (shadow attribute) visibility logic. The authorization check accepted any attribute or object carrying one of the user's sharing groups without verifying the distribution level, and denied the owning organisation access to proposals on its own organisation-only attributes.
- A user belonging to a sharing group could view proposals on attributes or objects with that sharing group, regardless of the attribute's distribution level (levels 1-3 should restrict visibility)
- The owning organisation could not view proposals on its own org-only attributes
Security impact: Unauthorized disclosure of proposed attribute changes to users who should not have access based on distribution level restrictions.
Affected: <2.5.48 |
| A vulnerability was detected in Dav-ee dairy-management-system 31ace9692d1e1e6d64339a42c463b361319c615c/f31a584c3330c013b61f8b0306d9e0849c6d693d. This issue affects the function mysqli_real_escape_string of the file payment/pay.php. The manipulation of the argument f_no/farmer results in sql injection. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. This product operates on a rolling release basis, ensuring continuous delivery. Consequently, there are no version details for either affected or updated releases. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
