CVSS v3.1 |
| The WP Verify API WordPress plugin through 1.0.0 does not properly sanitize and escape a parameter before using it in a SQL query, allowing unauthenticated users to perform SQL injection attacks. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: arm64: Clear __hyp_running_vcpu when flushing the pKVM hyp vCPU
flush_hyp_vcpu() copies the host vCPU context into the hyp's private
vCPU on every run. ctxt_to_vcpu() expects a guest context to have a
NULL __hyp_running_vcpu, which is only ever set on the host context, so
that it resolves the vCPU via container_of(). While this is generally
the case, flush_hyp_vcpu() copies the context verbatim and does not
enforce this, so a value provided by the host is dereferenced at EL2
(host -> EL2).
Fix by clearing __hyp_running_vcpu after the copy. |

[ 132.495484] ------------[ cut here ]------------
[ 132.497609] kernel BUG at net/core/dev.c:12376!
Commit 61220ab34948 ("vti6: Enable namespace changing") dropped
NETIF_F_NETNS_LOCAL from vti6 devices. A vti6 tunnel can then
move through IFLA_NET_NS_FD. After the move dev_net(dev) points
at the new netns while t->net stays at the creation netns.
vti6_changelink() and vti6_update() still use dev_net(dev) and
dev_net(t->dev). They unlink from one per netns hash and relink
into another. The creation netns is left with a stale entry.
cleanup_net() of that netns later walks freed memory.
Reachable from an unprivileged user namespace (unshare --user
--map-root-user --net). Cross tenant scope on container hosts. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
espintcp: use sk_msg_free_partial to fix partial send
sk_msg_free_partial() ensures consistency of the skmsg at every
iteration, without having to manually handle uncharges and offsets.
This simplifies the code, and fixes some bugs in skmsg accounting when
we don't send the full contents. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: phylink: record the PHY only once bringup cannot fail
phylink_bringup_phy() stores the PHY in pl->phydev before its last
fallible step: on a MAC whose phylink ops implement LPI,
phy_eee_rx_clock_stop() can fail with a real MDIO error. The callers
unwind with phy_detach(), which knows nothing about pl->phydev, so a
pointer to a PHY that is no longer attached outlives the failed
connect.
What that costs depends on how the caller got here.
phylink_connect_phy() goes through phylink_attach_phy(), which refuses
to attach while pl->phydev is set, turning a transient MDIO error into
a permanent -EBUSY. The SFP path is worse than that: sfp_sm_probe_phy()
answers the failure with phy_device_remove() and phy_device_free(), and
it assigns sfp->mod_phy only past that error return, so nothing clears
pl->phydev and it is left pointing at a freed phy_device that
phylink_resolve() and the ethtool helpers go on reading.
phylink_fwnode_phy_connect() has no such check, so a later connect
overwrites the stale pointer and hides the problem. A disconnect does
not: phylink_disconnect_phy() hands that pointer to phy_disconnect(),
and the second phy_detach() on the same PHY drops references the first
one already released.
Found while making a DSA port survive a PHY whose driver arrives after
the switch probes: keeping the port across a failed connect and
retrying is what makes this window reachable.
Publish the pointer after the last call that can fail instead of
unwinding it afterwards. Nothing between the two points reads
pl->phydev, and the registration that follows cannot fail:
phy_request_interrupt() falls back to polling on its own. The PHY-side
state keeps the order it had, so no MDIO operation moves relative to
another. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: atl1: fix soft lockup on out-of-range cmb_tpd_next_to_clean read
Same issue as atl1c (see the first commit in this series, "net:
atl1c: fix soft lockup on out-of-range tpd_cons read"): the hardware
can report an out-of-range cmb_tpd_next_to_clean (seen as 0xffff)
while the PCIe link/MAC is resetting. An out-of-range value can
never be reached and the loop below would spin forever. Treat it as
"nothing new to clean" instead. |
| phpMyFAQ from 4.1.0 before 4.1.9 and 4.2.0-alpha before 4.2.0-beta contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the admin dashboard that allows authenticated users without admin rights to view restricted data. Attackers with any activated account can request /admin/index.php/ to read unpublished FAQ questions, admin edit URLs, recent user identities, and site statistics. |
| A flaw was found in Quarkus. This issue occurs when receiving a request over websocket with no role-based permission specified on the GraphQL operation, Quarkus processes the request without authentication despite the endpoint being secured. This can allow an attacker to access information and functionality outside of normal granted API permissions. |
| OPNsense is a FreeBSD based firewall and routing platform. Prior to version 26.1.11, Firewall Rules and NAT views place stored category names and alias descriptions into HTML title attributes in filter_rule.volt and nat_rule.volt without quote-safe encoding. The response layer uses ENT_NOQUOTES, so a double quote survives and closes the attribute, allowing an event-handler attribute to be added to the existing span. A user with Firewall Categories or Firewall Alias Edit privileges can store a category name or alias description; the category must be assigned to a filter or NAT rule, or the alias must be referenced by a rule source or destination, and the rule must be saved so the affected tooltip is rendered. Script then executes in the session of an administrator or other user who opens the affected Rules or NAT page. The script can access CSRF material and perform authenticated actions as the victim. This issue is fixed in version 26.1.11. |
| WeGIA is a web manager for charitable institutions. Prior to 3.8.6, the pre-installation web/instalador/instalador.php endpoint is reachable before config.php exists and processes unauthenticated installation POST data. In the Linux reinstall flow, a crafted usuario value reaches a command executed by shell_exec(). The installer also writes attacker-controlled values into executable config.php and concatenates the database name nomebd into a CREATE DATABASE statement. Successful exploitation can execute commands as the web-server user, persist attacker-controlled PHP configuration, and alter or disrupt the application and its data. This issue is fixed in version 3.8.6. |
| Renovate before 44.61.3 contains a protection mechanism bypass vulnerability that allows minimumReleaseAge checks to be skipped when a user requests a PR rebase via the rebase/retry checkbox. Attackers who publish a malicious dependency version can have it pushed into the PR and run in CI before the required release age elapses. |
| FreeRDP from 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 contains an infinite loop vulnerability in http_response_recv() that allows malicious gateways to exhaust client CPU via crafted Content-Type headers. Attackers controlling a gateway can return a nonzero Content-Length with a semicolon-containing unrecognized Content-Type, pinning a client thread at full CPU indefinitely. |
| `GET /api/v1/user/subscriptions` returned the metadata of every repository a user was watching without checking that the user still had access to it. A user who watched a private repository while having access, and later lost it, for example through a team permission downgrade, could still read its name, description, clone URLs, owner and counters. The issue was fixed in 1.27.0 and 28.0.0 and disclosed with 28.2.0. |
| A flaw was found in DPDK lib/vhost vhost-crypto. Write-back chain cleanup can follow an uninitialized next pointer when mapping a guest descriptor fails, causing the host vhost-crypto process to hang or crash. |
| GrowChief through 0.3.0 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the getAllUsers handler that allows any authenticated user to list users across all organizations because the IsSuperAdmin guard is absent. Attackers with a self-registered low-privilege account can send an empty or short search value to GET /users/all-users to enumerate user ids, emails, names and organization IDs of every tenant. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
sctp: diag: reject stale associations in dump_one path
The SCTP exact sock_diag lookup can hold a transport reference, block on
lock_sock(sk), and then resume after sctp_association_free() has marked
the association dead and freed its bind address list.
When that happens, inet_assoc_attr_size() and
inet_diag_msg_sctpasoc_fill() can still dereference association state
that is no longer valid for reporting. In particular,
inet_diag_msg_sctpasoc_fill() may read an empty bind-address list as a
real sctp_sockaddr_entry and trigger an out-of-bounds read from
unrelated association memory.
Reject the association after taking the socket lock if it has been
reaped or detached from the endpoint, and report the lookup as stale.
This keeps the exact dump-one path from formatting torn association
state. |
| A weakness has been identified in cemtan sar2html 4.0.0. Affected by this issue is the function index of the file sar2html.py. This manipulation of the argument sort causes sql injection. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| Mitigation bypass in the Enterprise Policies component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 158, Firefox ESR 153.5, Thunderbird 158, and Thunderbird 153.5. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Hold map BTF for the memory allocator destructor record
bpf_ma_set_dtor() duplicates map->record so that the bpf_mem_alloc
destructor can release the special fields of hash and rhash map elements
once the allocator frees them for good. btf_record_dup() only acquires
references on kernel and module BTF. Fields whose types live in the map
BTF keep pointing into it: a kptr to a local type refers to map->btf,
and a list_head or rb_root field carries a value_rec owned by the struct
meta table of map->btf.
That borrowed state can outlive the map. When RCU callbacks are still in
flight, bpf_mem_alloc_destroy() copies the allocator and defers the final
drain, together with the destructor context, to a workqueue.
bpf_map_free() then frees map->record and drops the map's BTF reference
as soon as map_free() returns. Once the program that loaded the BTF is
gone as well, the BTF is freed while the worker still uses the
duplicate. The worker dereferences it through btf_is_kernel() and
btf_find_struct_meta() in bpf_obj_free_fields() when destroying elements
that were freed under RCU, and through btf_is_kernel() in
btf_record_free() when releasing the context itself:

Freed by task 0:
kfree+0x186/0x560
rcu_core+0x6f6/0xd40
Freeing a map that still holds more elements than the allocator's high
watermark is enough to get there, because the bulk free during teardown
queues the RCU callback that makes bpf_mem_alloc_destroy() defer.
Non-preallocated hash maps and resizable hash maps both register the
destructor and are affected alike.
Keep one reference on the map BTF in the destructor context. Every
non-kernel pointer in the duplicated record is either map->btf or memory
owned by it, so a single reference covers kptrs, list heads, and rb
roots, and mirrors what bpf_map_meta_alloc() does for the duplicated
record of an inner map. Release it only after the duplicated record has
been freed: the worker is preemptible and not in an RCU read-side
critical section, so dropping the last reference first would let the
BTF be freed while btf_record_free() still reads its fields. |
| quirc through 1.2 contains an excessive-iteration vulnerability in find_alignment_pattern() in lib/identify.c that allows attackers to hang quirc_end() with a crafted image. Attackers can arrange three finder patterns producing a near-degenerate perspective transform, causing billions of region_code() iterations that exhaust CPU in applications decoding attacker-supplied QR images. |
