CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
sysctl: Check range in proc_dointvec_ms_jiffies_minmax
Add the range check to do_proc_int_conv_ms_jiffies_minmax that commit
d174174c6776 ("sysctl: replace SYSCTL_INT_CONV_CUSTOM macro with
functions") incorrectly removed. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
iio: adc: ad4030: fix invalid oversampling_ratio validation
In ad4030_set_avg_frame_len(), the logarithm is calculated before input
validation. Passing zero or negative values leads to an undefined result
from ilog2().
Validate that the input is strictly positive prior to computing its
logarithm. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Restrict CO-RE poisoning to relocatable instructions
CO-RE relocation records can name any instruction offset. When a
relocation cannot be resolved, bpf_core_patch_insn() currently poisons its
target before checking whether that instruction is a valid relocation
target. Malformed metadata can therefore replace jumps, calls, exits,
register-source arithmetic, or non-immediate loads instead of failing at
the relocation step.
Handle poisoning only after the instruction has passed the same class and
operand-form checks used for a resolved relocation. Route invalid forms
through the existing diagnostic and return a hard error. Keep poisoning
supported instructions, including both halves of a plain ldimm64, so an
unresolved relocation in dead code remains valid.
Extend bpf_core_poison_insn() to poison both halves of ldimm64, and return
its status directly from each validated instruction case. This avoids
routing the success path through a common label and leaves the helper free
to report errors.
The shared relocation code applies this restriction to both libbpf and
in-kernel CO-RE. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Reject non-negative offsets in stack_slot_obj_get_spi()
bpf_get_spi() computes (-off - 1) / BPF_REG_SIZE using C division,
which truncates toward zero. For off == 0, this produces spi 0, the
same index used by the valid stack slot at fp-8.
stack_slot_obj_get_spi() currently checks alignment and the resulting
spi bounds, but does not reject the non-negative offset itself. It can
therefore validate a PTR_TO_STACK register holding fp+0 against an
iterator stored at fp-8 even though the runtime receives the actual fp+0
pointer. An effectful iterator kfunc can then interpret memory outside
the BPF stack as iterator state.
Reject non-negative offsets before converting the offset to an spi. All
valid stack objects begin at a negative offset from the frame pointer. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: hci_sock: reject out-of-range OCF values
The raw HCI socket security filter has 128 OCF bits per supported OGF,
but masks the 10-bit OCF with 127 before looking up the command. An
unprivileged socket can therefore submit a reserved OCF that aliases an
allowlisted command modulo 128.
A conforming controller should reject reserved opcodes. Nevertheless,
the security decision must apply to the opcode that will actually be
sent, especially since controller-specific behavior is outside the host
stack's control.
Reject OCF values that cannot be represented by the security filter
instead of aliasing them onto an unrelated command. |
| RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 3.13.0 until 3.13.19, 4.0.24, 4.1.15, 4.2.10, and 4.3.5, the MQTT 5 parser in deps/rabbitmq_mqtt/src/rabbit_mqtt_packet.erl accepts Request-Problem-Information on PUBLISH packets even though the property is valid only for CONNECT. An authenticated publisher with topic write permission can cause the broker to store and route that inapplicable property to a separately authenticated matching subscriber. When the subscriber path serializes the outbound PUBLISH, serialise_prop/2 has no matching clause, and the uncontained function_clause exception closes the victim MQTT or Web MQTT connection. The publisher connection and broker remain available, and queued replay, retained-message persistence, and broker-wide denial of service were not established. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.19, 4.0.24, 4.1.15, 4.2.10, and 4.3.5. |
| GitPython before 3.2.0 contains a remote code execution vulnerability that allows attackers to run commands because Git.ls_remote forwards URLs without check_unsafe_protocols validation. Attackers can supply ext:: remote-helper URLs to execute commands when git permits the ext transport, while merge_base and IndexFile.move also accept unguarded option injection. |
| Gitea's OAuth2 token endpoint verified the signature and grant of a token submitted with the `refresh_token` grant type, but not that the token was a refresh token. An unexpired access token for the same OAuth2 application and grant could be exchanged for a new access token and refresh token. Whoever holds such an access token could keep access beyond the token's original lifetime. |
| Heap buffer overflow in the HLL sketch deserialization of Apache DataSketches C++ (repo: datasketches-cpp).
When deserializing a sketch in LIST mode, from either a byte buffer or a stream, the coupon count was read from the input and used as the number of entries to copy into a fixed buffer of 8 entries, without checking it against the buffer's capacity. A crafted sketch could cause a write of up to 988 bytes past the end of this internal heap buffer. This can corrupt heap memory, causing a crash and potentially enabling further exploitation.
This issue affects Apache DataSketches C++: from 1.0.0-incubating before 5.3.0. Only applications that deserialize HLL sketches from untrusted sources are affected.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 5.3.0, which fixes this issue. |
| An Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input vulnerability in the routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows an adjacent unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service via a crafted RSVP packet when L2 LSP support is enabled. |
| An Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input vulnerability in the routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows a remote unauthenticated BGP peer to cause an rpd crash via a malformed BGP-signaled SRv6 service route when SRv6 dynamic tunnels are enabled. |
| An Improper Validation of Syntactic Correctness of Input vulnerability in the VPN daemon of Juniper Networks Junos OS on SRX Series allows an authenticated, network-based attacker to take complete control of the device.
If an SRX device configured for AutoDiscovery VPN (ADVPN) receives a message from a peer that contains one or more specifically malformed attributes, this will cause a buffer overflow, which can allow remote code execution and therefore allow an attacker to take complete control of the device. To be able to carry out this attack an attacker must either have acquired the shared secret to impersonate a peer or have compromised an existing one, so this attack is considerably difficult.
This issue affects Junos OS on SRX Series:
* All versions before 23.2R2-S7.7;
* from 23.4 before 23.4R2-S7;
* from 24.2 before 24.2R2-S4;
* from 24.4 before 24.4R2-S3;
* from 25.2 before 25.2R2;
* from 25.4 before 25.4R1-S3. |
