CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: mt76: mt7915: fix list corruption after hardware restart
Since stations are recreated from scratch, all lists that wcids are added
to must be cleared before calling ieee80211_restart_hw.
Set wcid->sta = 0 for each wcid entry in order to ensure that they are
not added again before they are ready. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bnxt_en: Fix memory corruption when FW resources change during ifdown
bnxt_set_dflt_rings() assumes that it is always called before any TC has
been created. So it doesn't take bp->num_tc into account and assumes
that it is always 0 or 1.
In the FW resource or capability change scenario, the FW will return
flags in bnxt_hwrm_if_change() that will cause the driver to
reinitialize and call bnxt_cancel_reservations(). This will lead to
bnxt_init_dflt_ring_mode() calling bnxt_set_dflt_rings() and bp->num_tc
may be greater than 1. This will cause bp->tx_ring[] to be sized too
small and cause memory corruption in bnxt_alloc_cp_rings().
Fix it by properly scaling the TX rings by bp->num_tc in the code
paths mentioned above. Add 2 helper functions to determine
bp->tx_nr_rings and bp->tx_nr_rings_per_tc. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: ath12k: Fix memory leak due to multiple rx_stats allocation
rx_stats for each arsta is allocated when adding a station.
arsta->rx_stats will be freed when a station is removed.
Redundant allocations are occurring when the same station is added
multiple times. This causes ath12k_mac_station_add() to be called
multiple times, and rx_stats is allocated each time. As a result there
is memory leaks.
Prevent multiple allocations of rx_stats when ath12k_mac_station_add()
is called repeatedly by checking if rx_stats is already allocated
before allocating again. Allocate arsta->rx_stats if arsta->rx_stats
is NULL respectively.
Tested-on: QCN9274 hw2.0 PCI WLAN.WBE.1.3.1-00173-QCAHKSWPL_SILICONZ-1

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
perf/dwc_pcie: fix duplicate pci_dev devices
During platform_device_register, wrongly using struct device
pci_dev as platform_data caused a kmemdup copy of pci_dev. Worse
still, accessing the duplicated device leads to list corruption as its
mutex content (e.g., list, magic) remains the same as the original. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nvme-tcp: fix potential memory corruption in nvme_tcp_recv_pdu()
nvme_tcp_recv_pdu() doesn't check the validity of the header length.
When header digests are enabled, a target might send a packet with an
invalid header length (e.g. 255), causing nvme_tcp_verify_hdgst()
to access memory outside the allocated area and cause memory corruptions
by overwriting it with the calculated digest.
Fix this by rejecting packets with an unexpected header length. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: hns3: fixed hclge_fetch_pf_reg accesses bar space out of bounds issue
The TQP BAR space is divided into two segments. TQPs 0-1023 and TQPs
1024-1279 are in different BAR space addresses. However,
hclge_fetch_pf_reg does not distinguish the tqp space information when
reading the tqp space information. When the number of TQPs is greater
than 1024, access bar space overwriting occurs.
The problem of different segments has been considered during the
initialization of tqp.io_base. Therefore, tqp.io_base is directly used
when the queue is read in hclge_fetch_pf_reg.
The error message:

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
gve: Account for stopped queues when reading NIC stats
We now account for the fact that the NIC might send us stats for a
subset of queues. Without this change, gve_get_ethtool_stats might make
an invalid access on the priv->stats_report->stats array. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ice: Fix improper extts handling
Extts events are disabled and enabled by the application ts2phc.
However, in case where the driver is removed when the application is
running, a specific extts event remains enabled and can cause a kernel
crash.
As a side effect, when the driver is reloaded and application is started
again, remaining extts event for the channel from a previous run will
keep firing and the message "extts on unexpected channel" might be
printed to the user.
To avoid that, extts events shall be disabled when PTP is released. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: nexthop: Increase weight to u16
In CLOS networks, as link failures occur at various points in the network,
ECMP weights of the involved nodes are adjusted to compensate. With high
fan-out of the involved nodes, and overall high number of nodes,
a (non-)ECMP weight ratio that we would like to configure does not fit into
8 bits. Instead of, say, 255:254, we might like to configure something like
1000:999. For these deployments, the 8-bit weight may not be enough.
To that end, in this patch increase the next hop weight from u8 to u16.
Increasing the width of an integral type can be tricky, because while the
code still compiles, the types may not check out anymore, and numerical
errors come up. To prevent this, the conversion was done in two steps.
First the type was changed from u8 to a single-member structure, which
invalidated all uses of the field. This allowed going through them one by
one and audit for type correctness. Then the structure was replaced with a
vanilla u16 again. This should ensure that no place was missed.
The UAPI for configuring nexthop group members is that an attribute
NHA_GROUP carries an array of struct nexthop_grp entries:
struct nexthop_grp {
__u32 id; /* nexthop id - must exist */
__u8 weight; /* weight of this nexthop */
__u8 resvd1;
__u16 resvd2;
};
The field resvd1 is currently validated and required to be zero. We can
lift this requirement and carry high-order bits of the weight in the
reserved field:
struct nexthop_grp {
__u32 id; /* nexthop id - must exist */
__u8 weight; /* weight of this nexthop */
__u8 weight_high;
__u16 resvd2;
};
Keeping the fields split this way was chosen in case an existing userspace
makes assumptions about the width of the weight field, and to sidestep any
endianness issues.
The weight field is currently encoded as the weight value minus one,
because weight of 0 is invalid. This same trick is impossible for the new
weight_high field, because zero must mean actual zero. With this in place:
- Old userspace is guaranteed to carry weight_high of 0, therefore
configuring 8-bit weights as appropriate. When dumping nexthops with
16-bit weight, it would only show the lower 8 bits. But configuring such
nexthops implies existence of userspace aware of the extension in the
first place.
- New userspace talking to an old kernel will work as long as it only
attempts to configure 8-bit weights, where the high-order bits are zero.
Old kernel will bounce attempts at configuring >8-bit weights.
Renaming reserved fields as they are allocated for some purpose is commonly
done in Linux. Whoever touches a reserved field is doing so at their own
risk. nexthop_grp::resvd1 in particular is currently used by at least
strace, however they carry an own copy of UAPI headers, and the conversion
should be trivial. A helper is provided for decoding the weight out of the
two fields. Forcing a conversion seems preferable to bending backwards and
introducing anonymous unions or whatever. |

| A flaw was found in Dogtag PKI, as used by FreeIPA's certificate authority component. The certificate profile import functionality does not fully validate uploaded profile content beyond the profile ID. An authenticated user with CA Administrator privileges can exploit Dogtag's ExternalProcessConstraint mechanism to execute arbitrary commands with attacker-controlled environment variables, achieving code execution as the pkiuser account. |
| The Translate WordPress with Weglot 2.0 WordPress plugin before 6.4.3 does not escape the URLs it re-inserts into a page when rewriting links for a translated language, and reverses the encoding that was applied to them beforehand, allowing unauthenticated users to store a payload which executes in the browser of anyone viewing the page in a translated language. |
| The Jane Menu WordPress plugin before 1.5.1 does not have any capability or nonce checks on one of its form handlers, which is reachable by unauthenticated users, allowing them to bind any published page to a remote document of their choosing. The plugin then fetches that document and outputs its head and body into the page without escaping, so an unauthenticated attacker can run arbitrary JavaScript in the browser of any visitor to that page, including an administrator. |
| The Elementor Website Builder WordPress plugin before 4.3.5 does not sanitize the text content of SVG files, checking only their elements and attributes, allowing users with the Contributor role and above to store a payload which breaks out when the SVG is rendered inline in a page and executes in the browser of any user viewing it. Execution is specific to Chromium-based browsers; Firefox is not affected. |
| The Elementor Website Builder WordPress plugin before 4.3.5 does not sanitize uploaded SVG files on every upload route, allowing users with the Author role and above to upload a file containing JavaScript, which will run in the browser of any user who opens it. Exploitation requires unfiltered file uploads to be enabled in the Elementor Website Builder WordPress plugin before 4.3.5 settings, which is not the default. |
| The Advanced File Manager WordPress plugin before 6.0.0 does not correctly determine whether a stored file is an SVG before sanitising it, allowing users granted file-manager access by an administrator to store a file containing script that is not stripped and that runs in the browser of anyone who opens it, including an administrator. |
| Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in Brainstorm Force SureCart surecart allows Stored XSS.This issue affects SureCart: from n/a through 4.9.5. |
| The User Profile Builder WordPress plugin before 4.0.1 does not escape the current page URL before outputting it in a JavaScript context on one of its admin pages, leading to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting against high-privilege users. |
| Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in CozyThemes Rootblox rootblox allows Stored XSS.This issue affects Rootblox: from n/a through 1.0.7. |
