CVSS v3.1 |
In Eclipse ThreadX NetX Duo versions 6.0 through 6.5.2.202603a, the NetX Secure DTLS server fills HelloVerifyRequest cookies from NX_RAND(), by default the C library rand(), with no key and no binding to the client. An attacker who can predict the generator's output can pass the cookie exchange from a spoofed address and make the server send its handshake flight to a victim, using it as a traffic reflector.
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
io_uring/net: don't retry recv on uncommitted buffers
Commit 41b70df5b38b ("io_uring/net: commit partial buffers on retry")
commits ring provided buffers when a receive is going to be retried after
a partial transfer, so that another request using the same buffer group
can't be handed the memory the first one keeps receiving into. It commits
the number of bytes received so far. That does the job for a single
buffer which is consumed as a whole, but the request hangs on to all it
has mapped:
- For a buffer ring with IOU_PBUF_RING_INC only these bytes are consumed.
The rest of the buffer stays at the head of the ring.
- For a bundle only the buffers which hold these bytes are consumed, the
others that were peeked stay in the ring.
In both cases the next receive with that buffer group gets memory that
the retried request is still going to write to, and whoever comes last
overwrites the data of the other. What the retry fills isn't committed at
all, as the buffer list isn't known any more at that point. So the kernel
hands it out again later on, while the CQE tells the application that it
was used, and for an incremental buffer that it is done with.
The remainder can't be committed in advance: if the request ends up
receiving less, there is no way to tell the application that more was
consumed than the CQE accounts for. Complete the request with what it has
got instead of retrying it. MSG_WAITALL is no longer honoured for
receives into incremental buffers or multi buffer bundles, they can
return a short count, with the request marked as failed like for other
short MSG_WAITALL transfers. |
A flaw was found in sssd. When authenticating with a YubiKey, the SSSD PAM responder can crash due to a use-after-free vulnerability, where a memory pointer is incorrectly handled. A local attacker could exploit this flaw by manipulating smartcard or YubiKey contents, leading to a denial of service that disrupts authentication. This vulnerability also presents a potential for privilege escalation, although it is difficult to exploit.
Sogou Input Method for Windows contains a vulnerability in the configuration retrieval mechanism of its SGTool.exe component. The application retrieves configuration data over unencrypted HTTP connections, allowing an attacker capable of manipulating network traffic to replace legitimate server responses with malicious configurations. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to instruct SGTool.exe to download attacker-controlled files to arbitrary locations, including paths used by legitimate application components. This can result in arbitrary code execution when the downloaded files are subsequently executed or loaded by the application.
Use after free in Layout in Google Chrome prior to 157.0.8103.38 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
Dell Wyse Management Suite, versions prior to 2609.0.0.155, contain an Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Script injection.
All versions of StorageGRID (formerly StorageGRID Webscale) in default & common configurations allow an unauthenticated attacker to access a limited set of APIs that are intended for use within the grid.
A vulnerability has been identified in armeria-saml versions prior to 1.41.1, where attacker-controlled RelayState is reflected into the HTTP Location header after successful authentication, allowing an unvalidated redirect to an attacker-controlled URL.
The platform allows persistent HTML injection into editable fields managed by TinyMCE. An authenticated attacker with low privileges can inject unsanitised HTML content which is stored in the database and subsequently rendered in other users’ browsers, affecting the display of content within the application.
In Eclipse ThreadX NetX Duo versions 6.0 through 6.5.2.202603a, the FTP client in IPv4 passive mode opens its data connection to whatever address the server names in its 227 reply instead of the server it is talking to. A malicious FTP server can make the client connect to any host and port the device can reach, using it to scan the internal network and to deliver uploads to internal services.
In Eclipse ThreadX NetX Duo versions 6.0 through 6.5.2.202603a, the TFTP client copies the message of a received ERROR packet without bounding the copy by the end of the datagram, and the TFTP server reads one byte past a minimal ERROR packet. A malicious TFTP server can make the client copy up to 64 bytes of adjacent packet-pool memory into the error string the application retrieves, or fault on targets with memory protection.
In parseKnownActivityEmbeddingCerts of ParsingUtils.java, there is a possible permanent denial of service due to improper input validation. This could lead to local denial of service with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In multiple functions of SearchRequestDatabaseUtil.java, there is a possible way to access protected data due to SQL injection. This could lead to local denial of service with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In multiple locations, there is a possible persistent denial of service due to improper input validation. This could lead to local denial of service with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
CSV formula injection vulnerability in the export functionality of the Coupa Supplier Portal SaaS platform. The vulnerability arises because certain user-controlled data, such as event names or templates within the Tenders module, are not properly validated or sanitised before being included in CSV files generated by the application. An attacker with low privileges can input specially crafted values that begin with characters interpreted as formulas by spreadsheet applications. When a victim downloads and opens the generated file in a compatible client, the content may be interpreted as a formula, potentially leading to unauthorised actions such as the execution of commands via mechanisms such as DDE, access to information, or interaction with system resources under the victim’s context.
In Eclipse ThreadX NetX Duo versions 6.0 through 6.5.2.202603a, the DHCP client's option walk advances its offset one byte less than its read pointer for every option it skips. A DHCP server, or any host on the link that answers first, can make the client read up to about a kilobyte past the received message, and the same walk copies out-of-bounds bytes into the application's buffer when it retrieves a user option.
Server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the Coupa Supplier Portal SaaS platform, specifically in the document conversion functionality available in the ‘Contracts > Templates’ section. The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of references to external resources processed by the Aspose.Words for Java library during DOCX-to-PDF conversion. An authenticated attacker with permissions to modify templates could upload a specially crafted DOCX document containing references to external resources, which would cause the server-side application to access URLs controlled by the attacker, resources on the internal network, or local files. A successful exploit could lead to the disclosure of sensitive information, such as configuration files, system files, credentials, environment variables and endpoints for internal services.
A reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Tenders module of the Coupa Supplier Portal SaaS platform. The vulnerability arises because the `list_item_function` parameter is reflected in the server’s response without proper output encoding or sanitisation, and is directly embedded within the context of a JavaScript event handler. An attacker with a low-privileged account could create a malicious URL containing JavaScript payloads which, when opened by a victim, would execute arbitrary scripts within the context of the victim’s browser. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to perform actions on the victim’s behalf, disclose accessible information or manipulate the user interface.
A flaw was found in the H.264 video parser in gst-plugins-bad. When processing a specially crafted H.264 video file or network stream with malformed Multiview (MVC) Sequence Parameter Set data, the parser can dereference a NULL pointer during the cleanup of partially allocated internal structures after a parse failure. This can cause the application using GStreamer to crash, resulting in a denial of service.
A flaw was found in GStreamer's gst-plugins-bad H.265 video parser. When parsing a specially crafted H.265 bitstream containing a Screen Content Coding (SCC) extension with certain palette predictor initializer settings, an integer underflow in the upper-bound computation allows the parser to accept an out-of-range value for the number of palette predictor entries. This causes the parser to write beyond the end of a fixed-size array, resulting in memory corruption and an application crash. An attacker can deliver the malformed bitstream as a local file or over a network stream such as HTTP, HLS, DASH, RTSP, RTP, or WebRTC. Successful exploitation requires the application to open or play that content, and is limited to a denial-of-service impact.
