A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC BATCH V9.1 (All versions), SIMATIC Information Server 2020 (All versions < V2020 SP2 Update 5), SIMATIC Information Server 2022 (All versions < V2022 SP1 Update 2), SIMATIC PCS 7 V9.1 (All versions < V9.1 SP2 UC06), SIMATIC Process Historian 2020 (All versions < V2020 SP2 Update 5), SIMATIC Process Historian 2022 (All versions < V2022 SP1 Update 2), SIMATIC WinCC Runtime Professional V18 (All versions < V18 Update 5), SIMATIC WinCC Runtime Professional V19 (All versions < V19 Update 3), SIMATIC WinCC V7.4 (All versions), SIMATIC WinCC V7.5 (All versions < V7.5 SP2 Update 18), SIMATIC WinCC V8.0 (All versions < V8.0 Update 5). The affected products run their DB server with elevated privileges which could allow an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary OS commands with administrative privileges.
Westermo EDW-100 devices through 2024-05-03 allow an unauthenticated user to download a configuration file containing a cleartext password. NOTE: this is a serial-to-Ethernet converter that should not be placed at the edge of the network.
In BootRom, there's a possible unchecked command index. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed.
In BootRom, there is a possible unchecked write address. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed.
In BootROM, there is a possible missing validation for Certificate Type 0. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed.
A vulnerability classified as critical was found in IROAD Dash Cam X5 and Dash Cam X6 up to 20250308. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the component Device Pairing. The manipulation leads to hard-coded credentials. Access to the local network is required for this attack to succeed. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitation appears to be difficult. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
NetSupport Manager < 14.12.0001 relies on a shared Gateway Key for authentication between Manager/Control, Client, and Connectivity Server components. The key is stored using a reversible encoding scheme. An attacker who obtains access to a deployed client configuration file can decode the stored value to recover the plaintext Gateway Key. Possession of the Gateway Key allows unauthorized access to NetSupport Manager connectivity services and enables remote control of systems managed through the same key.
An attacker with low privileges can manipulate the requested memory size, causing the application to use an invalid memory area. This could lead to a crash of the application but it does not affected other applications.
SMM callout vulnerability within the AmdPlatformRasSspSmm driver could allow a ring 0 attacker to modify boot services handlers, potentially resulting in arbitrary code execution.
| Asseco InfoMedica is a comprehensive solution used to manage both administrative and medical tasks in the healthcare sector. Passwords of all users are stored in a database in an encoded format. An attacker in possession of these encoded passwords is able to decode them by using an algorithm embedded in the client-side part of the software.
This vulnerability has been fixed in versions 4.50.1 and 5.38.0 |
