Use-after-free vulnerability in fs/crypto/ in the Linux kernel before 4.10.7 allows local users to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference) or possibly gain privileges by revoking keyring keys being used for ext4, f2fs, or ubifs encryption, causing cryptographic transform objects to be freed prematurely.
CVE-2017-7274 1 Radare 1 Radare2 2025-04-20 N/A
The r_pkcs7_parse_cms function in libr/util/r_pkcs7.c in radare2 1.3.0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and application crash) via a crafted PE file.
CVE-2017-9470 1 Ytnef Project 1 Ytnef 2025-04-20 N/A
In ytnef 1.9.2, the MAPIPrint function in lib/ytnef.c allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and application crash) via a crafted file.
CVE-2017-9468 2 Debian, Irssi 2 Debian Linux, Irssi 2025-04-20 N/A
In Irssi before 1.0.3, when receiving a DCC message without source nick/host, it attempts to dereference a NULL pointer. Thus, remote IRC servers can cause a crash.
CVE-2017-9347 1 Wireshark 1 Wireshark 2025-04-20 N/A
In Wireshark 2.2.0 to 2.2.6, the ROS dissector could crash with a NULL pointer dereference. This was addressed in epan/dissectors/asn1/ros/packet-ros-template.c by validating an OID.
CVE-2017-9343 1 Wireshark 1 Wireshark 2025-04-20 N/A
In Wireshark 2.2.0 to 2.2.6 and 2.0.0 to 2.0.12, the MSNIP dissector misuses a NULL pointer. This was addressed in epan/dissectors/packet-msnip.c by validating an IPv4 address.
CVE-2017-9250 1 Jerryscript 1 Jerryscript 2025-04-20 7.5 High
The lexer_process_char_literal function in jerry-core/parser/js/js-lexer.c in JerryScript 1.0 does not skip memory allocation for empty strings, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and application crash) via malformed JavaScript source code, related to the jmem_heap_free_block function.
CVE-2017-9229 4 Oniguruma Project, Php, Redhat and 1 more 4 Oniguruma, Php, Rhel Software Collections and 1 more 2025-04-20 7.5 High
An issue was discovered in Oniguruma 6.2.0, as used in Oniguruma-mod in Ruby through 2.4.1 and mbstring in PHP through 7.1.5. A SIGSEGV occurs in left_adjust_char_head() during regular expression compilation. Invalid handling of reg->dmax in forward_search_range() could result in an invalid pointer dereference, normally as an immediate denial-of-service condition.
CVE-2017-9631 1 Schneider-electric 1 Wonderware Archestra Logger 2025-04-20 7.5 High
A Null Pointer Dereference issue was discovered in Schneider Electric Wonderware ArchestrA Logger, versions 2017.426.2307.1 and prior. The null pointer dereference vulnerability could allow an attacker to crash the logger process, causing a denial of service for logging and log-viewing (applications that use the Wonderware ArchestrA Logger continue to run when the Wonderware ArchestrA Logger service is unavailable).
CVE-2016-4678 1 Apple 1 Mac Os X 2025-04-20 N/A
An issue was discovered in certain Apple products. macOS before 10.12.1 is affected. The issue involves the "AppleSMC" component. It allows local users to gain privileges or cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference) via unspecified vectors.
CVE-2014-3164 1 Google 1 Android 2025-04-20 N/A
cmds/servicemanager/service_manager.c in Android before commit 7d42a3c31ba78a418f9bdde0e0ab951469f321b5 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference, or out-of-bounds write) via vectors related to binder passed lengths.

CVE-2022-23525 2 Helm, Redhat 2 Helm, Openshift 2025-04-18 5.3 Medium
Helm is a tool for managing Charts, pre-configured Kubernetes resources. Versions prior to 3.10.3 are subject to NULL Pointer Dereference in the _repo_package. The _repo_ package contains a handler that processes the index file of a repository. For example, the Helm client adds references to chart repositories where charts are managed. The _repo_ package parses the index file of the repository and loads it into structures Go can work with. Some index files can cause array data structures to be created causing a memory violation. Applications that use the _repo_ package in the Helm SDK to parse an index file can suffer a Denial of Service when that input causes a panic that cannot be recovered from. The Helm Client will panic with an index file that causes a memory violation panic. Helm is not a long running service so the panic will not affect future uses of the Helm client. This issue has been patched in 3.10.3. SDK users can validate index files that are correctly formatted before passing them to the _repo_ functions.
