CVE-2022-49159 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: qla2xxx: Implement ref count for SRB The timeout handler and the done function are racing. When qla2x00_async_iocb_timeout() starts to run it can be preempted by the normal response path (via the firmware?). qla24xx_async_gpsc_sp_done() releases the SRB unconditionally. When scheduling back to qla2x00_async_iocb_timeout() qla24xx_async_abort_cmd() will access an freed sp->qpair pointer: qla2xxx [0000:83:00.0]-2871:0: Async-gpsc timeout - hdl=63d portid=234500 50:06:0e:80:08:77:b6:21. qla2xxx [0000:83:00.0]-2853:0: Async done-gpsc res 0, WWPN 50:06:0e:80:08:77:b6:21 qla2xxx [0000:83:00.0]-2854:0: Async-gpsc OUT WWPN 20:45:00:27:f8:75:33:00 speeds=2c00 speed=0400. qla2xxx [0000:83:00.0]-28d8:0: qla24xx_handle_gpsc_event 50:06:0e:80:08:77:b6:21 DS 7 LS 6 rc 0 login 1|1 rscn 1|0 lid 5 BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at 0000000000000004 IP: qla24xx_async_abort_cmd+0x1b/0x1c0 [qla2xxx] Obvious solution to this is to introduce a reference counter. One reference is taken for the normal code path (the 'good' case) and one for the timeout path. As we always race between the normal good case and the timeout/abort handler we need to serialize it. Also we cannot assume any order between the handlers. Since this is slow path we can use proper synchronization via locks. When we are able to cancel a timer (del_timer returns 1) we know there can't be any error handling in progress because the timeout handler hasn't expired yet, thus we can safely decrement the refcounter by one. If we are not able to cancel the timer, we know an abort handler is running. We have to make sure we call sp->done() in the abort handlers before calling kref_put().
CVE-2026-98411 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 4.1 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: power: sequencing: fix NULL-pointer dereference in pwrseq_device_register() If dev_set_name() fails in pwrseq_device_register(), we jump to the err_put_pwrseq label before initializing pwrseq->targets. pwrseq_release() will try to iterate over targets unconditionally and subsequently dereference an invalid pointer. Move the call to dev_set_name() after the list head is initialized.
CVE-2026-98416 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 4.1 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: ti: k3-udma-glue: fix NULL dereference in k3_udma_glue_release_rx_chn() If devm_kcalloc() for rx_chn->flows fails in a channel request function, the error path calls k3_udma_glue_release_rx_chn(), which dereferences the NULL rx_chn->flows pointer in k3_udma_glue_release_rx_flow(). Skip the flow release loop in k3_udma_glue_release_rx_chn() when rx_chn->flows is not allocated. Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with SVACE.
CVE-2026-111128 1 Assimp 1 Assimp 2026-10-15 5.5 Medium
Assimp through 6.0.5 contains a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in the Ogre3D importer that allows attackers to crash applications via unvalidated bone indices in OgreStructs.cpp. Attackers can supply a crafted .mesh and .skeleton file referencing a missing bone, causing BoneById() to return null and crash the host process.
CVE-2026-104004 1 Mongodb 1 Mongodb Server 2026-10-15 6.5 Medium
MongoDB Server's collection validation feature may not properly handle certain expressions stored in a validator. In some cases, this can cause the server process to stop running when a document is later inserted. The behavior can occur for authenticated users with write access.
CVE-2026-111129 1 Assimp 1 Assimp 2026-10-15 5.5 Medium
Open Asset Import Library (assimp) through 6.0.5 contains a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in the Ogre3D binary mesh importer's OgreBinarySerializer::ReadAnimationKeyFrames() handling of unvalidated animation track targets. Attackers can supply a crafted .mesh file with a morph animation track targeting a missing submesh or absent shared geometry to crash the host process.
CVE-2026-107888 1 Openprinting 1 Cups 2026-10-15 5.1 Medium
OpenPrinting CUPS before 2.4.20 contains a NULL pointer dereference in cupsdCheckJobs() when a job marked job-held-on-create refers to a temporary printer that has been automatically deleted. Temporary-printer cleanup can remove the destination without canceling its held jobs, and the scheduler dereferences the NULL result of cupsdFindDest() while checking holding_new_jobs. This terminates cupsd and interrupts all queues managed by that process. In some plausible scenarios, an unprivileged submission can trigger this.
CVE-2026-111144 1 Ansilove 1 Libansilove 2026-10-15 5.5 Medium
libansilove 1.3.0 through 1.4.2 contains a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in ansilove_xbin() that allows attackers to crash applications by supplying a crafted XBIN file. Attackers can set the 512-character flag without the custom-font flag, causing drawchar() to index a NULL high_font_data_xbin pointer and terminate the process.

FreeRDP versions from 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 contain a null pointer dereference in the rdpsnd channel when a fragment sets CHANNEL_FLAG_LAST without CHANNEL_FLAG_FIRST. A malicious RDP server can send a malformed rdpsnd PDU on a fresh channel to crash the client and cause denial of service.
CVE-2026-80524 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: optee: ffa: Add NULL check in optee_ffa_lend_protmem Sashiko (locally) reports a possible null dereference under memory pressure due to the lack of validation of the allocated pointer. Fix that by adding the missing check.
CVE-2026-72091 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/amdxdna: reject user command submission without a command BO amdxdna_drm_submit_execbuf() passes the user-supplied command BO handle straight into amdxdna_cmd_submit() with drv_cmd == NULL. When the handle is AMDXDNA_INVALID_BO_HANDLE (0), the block that fetches job->cmd_bo is skipped, leaving it NULL, and no check rejects it on the user path (the !job->cmd_bo guard lives inside the != INVALID branch). The job is then armed and pushed to the DRM scheduler. aie2_sched_job_run() takes the drv_cmd == NULL path and calls amdxdna_cmd_set_state(job->cmd_bo) -> amdxdna_gem_vmap(NULL) -> to_gobj(NULL)->dev, a NULL pointer dereference in the drm_sched worker. A process with access to the accel node on a system with a probed AMD NPU can trigger a kernel oops with a single AMDXDNA_EXEC_CMD ioctl (cmd_handles = 0). Only internal driver commands (SYNC_DEBUG_BO / ATTACH_DEBUG_BO) legitimately pass AMDXDNA_INVALID_BO_HANDLE, and they always set drv_cmd. Reject the invalid handle for user submissions (drv_cmd == NULL) at the submit choke point so every user path is covered. Found by 0sec automated security-research tooling (https://0sec.ai).
CVE-2026-64325 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mt76: mt7921/mt7925: fix NULL dereference in CSA beacon This patch is based on a BUG as reported by Bongani Hlope at https://lore.kernel.org/all/20260502125824.425d7159@bongani-mini.home.org.za/ When a channel-switch announcement (CSA) beacon is received, cfg80211 queues a wiphy work item that eventually calls mt7921_channel_switch_rx_beacon(). If the station disconnects (or the channel context is otherwise torn down) between the time the work is queued and the time it runs, the driver's dev->new_ctx pointer can already have been cleared to NULL. mt7921_channel_switch_rx_beacon() then dereferences new_ctx unconditionally, triggering a NULL pointer dereference at address 0x0: BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000000 RIP: 0010:mt7921_channel_switch_rx_beacon+0x1f/0x100 [mt7921_common] The same missing guard exists in mt7925_channel_switch_rx_beacon(), which shares the same code pattern introduced by the same commit. Add an early-return NULL check for dev->new_ctx in both mt7921_channel_switch_rx_beacon() and mt7925_channel_switch_rx_beacon(). When new_ctx is NULL there is no pending channel switch to process, so returning immediately is the correct and safe action. CVE-2026-64040 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cachefiles: Fix error return when vfs_mkdir() fails When vfs_mkdir() fails, the error code is not extracted from the returned error pointer. This causes mkdir_error to be reached with ret=0, which leads to returning ERR_PTR(0) (NULL) instead of a proper error pointer. Fix this by extracting the error code from the error pointer when vfs_mkdir() fails.
