CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
namespace: never expire a locked mount
Locked mounts are special. They protect the underlying files and
directories from being revealed. do_umount() refuses to unmount locked
mounts but shrink_submounts() doesn't.
A shrinkable mount can become locked once the owner of a user namespace
puts it beneath a locked mount with MOVE_MOUNT_BENEATH. The locked
property now moves to the mount at the bottom making it possible to
unmount the top mount.
So umount() of an unlocked ancestor now expires the bottom mount first
and the covered directory is revealed:
move_mount(c -> x/hidden, MOVE_MOUNT_BENEATH) = 0
the cover after the lock moved: umount2(x/hidden) = 0
the holder of the lock: umount2(x/hidden) = EINVAL
the root of the copy, busy: umount2(x) = EBUSY
reads x/hidden/secret: "covered-by-root"
So leave a locked mount alone as it dies together with its parent. A
plain umount() of an unlocked mount with a locked one below it is EBUSY
from now on. It's the same for any other locked child. A lazy umount
still takes the whole tree.
mark_mounts_for_expiry() never sees a locked mount. lock_mnt_tree()
leaves a mount on an expiry list alone and nothing else puts a locked
one on such a list. Add an assert for this. |
| IBM MQ could allow an authenticated attacker to cause a denial of service due to improper validation of RFH2 message header fields in queued publish/subscribe operations. |
| IBM MQ could allow an authenticated attacker to cause a denial of service by sending a specially crafted asynchronous consume request that crashes the queue manager agent process. |
| IBM MQ Web Console could allow an authenticated administrator to write files outside the intended directory due to improper path validation. |
| IBM MQ could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code due to a stack buffer overflow when processing TLS certificates with malformed distinguished names during channel connection establishment. |
| IBM MQ could allow an authenticated attacker to trigger a minor out-of-bounds read when sending malformed compressed data, though the data is not disclosed and the request is rejected. |

| IBM MQ could allow an authenticated attacker to cause a denial of service through a specially crafted message that triggers excessive memory operations during character set conversion. |
| BuildAdmin through 2.3.9 contains an insecure direct object reference vulnerability that allows authenticated backend administrators to modify other administrators' profiles via the id parameter. Attackers holding the routine/adminInfo/edit permission can overwrite avatar, nickname, email, mobile and motto fields, including a super administrator's email and mobile. |
| Misaka Danmu Server through 2.8.9 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to write arbitrary configuration keys via the unprotected POST /api/ui/config-history/rollback endpoint. Attackers can set the ipWhitelist key to their own /32 address, or alter trustedProxies and webhookApiKey, to access every protected endpoint as the administrator. |
| sshportal through 1.19.5 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the management shell 'key show' command that allows authenticated non-admin users to obtain decrypted backend private SSH keys. Attackers can request predictable key names like 'default' or 'host' to retrieve private keys and connect directly to backend hosts, bypassing ACLs and session recording. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nvmet: use the local P2P device on metadata allocation failure
nvmet_req_alloc_p2pmem_sgls() assigns req->p2p_dev only after the data
and metadata SGL allocations succeed. If the data allocation succeeds
but the metadata allocation fails, out_free_sg passes req->p2p_dev to
pci_p2pmem_free_sgl() before that assignment has taken place.
Pass the local p2p_dev argument instead, so cleanup uses the same PCI
device as the successful data allocation. |
