CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nvme-fc: Do not cancel requests in io target before it is initialized
A new nvme-fc controller in CONNECTING state sees admin request timeout
schedules ctrl->ioerr_work to abort inflight requests. This ends up
calling __nvme_fc_abort_outstanding_ios() which aborts requests in both
admin and io tagsets. In case fc_ctrl->tag_set was not initialized we
see the warning below. This is because ctrl.queue_count is initialized
early in nvme_fc_alloc_ctrl().

tagset was created before iterating over busy requests. Also make sure
to cancel ctrl->ioerr_work before removing io tagset. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
usb: xhci: bail out of setup if the controller is inaccessible
xhci_gen_setup() locates the operational registers using the capability
length read from the very first register:
xhci->op_regs = hcd->regs +
HC_LENGTH(readl(&xhci->cap_regs->hc_capbase));
If the controller is dead or has dropped off the bus, that read returns
~0, HC_LENGTH() truncates it to 0xff, and op_regs ends up 0xff bytes
past the page-aligned MMIO base, i.e. unaligned. The first access
through it, xhci_halt() -> xhci_handshake() reading op_regs->status, is
then an unaligned readl() on device memory. arm64 faults on unaligned
device accesses, so instead of xhci_handshake() catching the all-ones
value and returning -ENODEV, setup oopses:

This was hit with a Renesas uPD720201 that failed to power up ("Unable

reached the HCD probe path.
Read the capability register once, and if it reads back the all-ones
value (as xhci_handshake() and xhci_reset() already test for), abort
setup with -ENODEV before op_regs is derived from it. Reading it once
also avoids re-reading a register that may change under a concurrent
hot-removal. |

wifi: iwlwifi: mei: pass correct argument to function
The first argument to iwl_mei_write_cyclic_buf() should be the cldev
but the q_head pointer is passed instead. Fix it. |
| NVIDIA vGPU Virtual GPU Manager for Linux contains a vulnerability where an attacker could cause incorrect resource transfer between spheres. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, denial of service, escalation of privileges, information disclosure, and data tampering. |
| NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for Windows contains a vulnerability in the kernel module where a user could cause improper locking. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to denial of service. |
| Werkzeug is a comprehensive WSGI web application library. Prior to 3.1.9, the safe_join function used by send_from_directory can allow a NUL: special-device path because safe_join checks the Windows device name without first removing an empty NTFS ADS marker. The trigger is that an application runs on Windows with NTFS and serves a user-specified path ending in a special device name such as NUL:. The attack mechanism is that a requested path ends in a Windows special device name with an empty ADS marker. The impact is that the special device opens successfully and the file read hangs indefinitely. This issue is fixed in version 3.1.9. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Cancel special fields when recycling rhtab elements
rhtab_map_update_existing() and rhtab_delete_elem() call
bpf_obj_free_fields() when replacing or deleting a value. These map
operations can run from BPF programs in NMI context, where releasing a
referenced kptr or another complex field is not generally safe.
Array and hash maps avoid that problem by cancelling only the asynchronous
fields which can be stopped safely in the caller context. Other ownership
state remains attached to the allocation until its memory allocator
destructor performs the final cleanup.
Use bpf_obj_cancel_fields() for the corresponding rhtab paths as well. This
cancels timers, workqueues, and task work while allowing rhtab_mem_dtor() to
release referenced kptrs when the allocation is eventually destroyed.

| Multiple BinSoft products are vulnerable to Remote Command Execution. An authorized user with access to the application and direct access to the backend database can achieve system command execution by uploading an attachment and modifying its storage path in the database to reference an attacker-controlled remote network resource. Alternatively, it is possible to use a previously uploaded file and change its reference. When the application processes the attachment, and a user tries to open it, the referenced resource is executed by the system.
Critically, this vulnerability can be exploited by any unauthenticated attacker by chaining it with CVE-2026-40550 and CVE-2026-40551, which allows obtaining database access, and logging onto any account.
The described issue affects all published versions. The vendor stated that this issue is a direct result of the architecture model in which the software is distributed, and that it will be mitigated with a corrected installation manual. |
| Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. From 8.0.0 until 8.0.6, the SMTP MIME parser in rust/src/mime/smtp.rs does not fully reset state when processing Content-Type: message/rfc822 encapsulation. An outer MIME part's encoding or filename state can leak into the inner message, allowing crafted mail to evade detections based on file.data, file.name, or extracted URLs when SMTP MIME decoding is enabled. This issue is fixed in version 8.0.6. |
| Ghidra before 12.1.4 fails to validate the TYPE_COL byte in OptionsDB.createUnregisteredOption(), causing an ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException that leaves domain objects permanently locked. Attackers can craft a malicious program database file that, when imported, causes the application to stall and prevents resource cleanup or graceful shutdown. |
| Improper Exposure of Resource to Wrong Sphere in the host file helper (gofer) in Google gVisor prior to commit 573a9e73cf844f on Linux platforms with CUSE enabled allows a local attacker with container image deployment privileges to achieve root code execution on the host system. By including a /dev/cuse character device node in a container image, opening the device passes through to the host, allowing the sandboxed attacker to register a host device and exploit CUSE unrestricted ioctl handling to overwrite root udev helper memory. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
s390/crypto: Map EBUSY to EIO when key conversion fails repeatedly
When hardware persistently returns -EBUSY after exhausting retries,
the error propagates to crypto_finalize_*_request(). The crypto API's
completion wrapper treats -EBUSY as a queueing status and swallows it,
preventing the completion callback from firing. This causes callers
using crypto_wait_req() to block indefinitely.
Translate persistent -EBUSY to -EIO after retry exhaustion to ensure
proper error propagation and callback invocation. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
arm64: entry: Avoid unnecessary local_irq_disable() on kernel exit
Currently, when exiting to kernel mode, we attempt involuntary
preemption. The preemption logic expects IRQs to be disabled, which is
why we call local_irq_disable() before attempting preemption.
However, depending on the context, local_irq_disable() may be
unnecessary:
- __el1_irq(), the non-NMI EL1 IRQ path, already has IRQs disabled, so
local_irq_disable() is redundant.
- irqentry_exit_to_kernel_mode_preempt() immediately returns when
exiting from an NMI-like context, so calling local_irq_disable()
beforehand is unnecessary work.
Furthermore, it confuses the pNMI state tracking when we are in a
context with interrupts disabled and the GIC_PRIO_PSR_I_SET bit is set
in the PMR, leading to a warning when
CONFIG_ARM64_DEBUG_PRIORITY_MASKING=y:

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nfsd: initialize DRC hash table before registering shrinker
shrinker_register() precedes the INIT_LIST_HEAD loop and the
drc_hashsize store. On weakly-ordered architectures (arm64, ppc),
a shrinker scan can observe drc_hashsize before the bucket list
heads are initialized, causing a NULL deref in the DRC shrinker
callback.
Move bucket initialization and the drc_hashsize store before
shrinker_register() so the hash table is fully initialized before
it becomes visible to the shrinker. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mm/madvise: skip device-private PMDs in cold and pageout walks
madvise_cold_or_pageout_pte_range() takes pmd_trans_huge_lock(), whose
pmd_is_huge() check returns true for a device-private PMD. The subsequent
!pmd_present() branch has a VM_BUG_ON() asserting migration is the only
allowed non-present case; a device-private PMD trips it.
Skip device-private PMDs in that non-present branch and continue to
huge_unlock before calling pmd_folio(). Downgrade the check to
VM_WARN_ON_ONCE() so an unexpected PMD softleaf logs a warning rather than
panicking. Drop the thp_migration_supported() guard: it expands to
IS_ENABLED(CONFIG_ARCH_SUPPORTS_PMD_SOFTLEAF), and both
pmd_is_migration_entry() and pmd_is_device_private_entry() already return
false when that config is not selected, so the guard suppresses only the
case where the warning would already be silent.
Potential trigger: an HMM-based GPU driver races with
madvise(MADV_COLD)/MADV_PAGEOUT: pmd_trans_huge(*pmd) reads true, then
migrate_vma_pages() flips the PMD to a device-private entry before the PMD
lock is acquired. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
scsi: qla2xxx: Fix response queue over-consumption in __qla_consume_iocb()
qla24xx_process_response_queue() advances ring_ptr past the head IOCB
before dispatching, so by the time __qla_consume_iocb() runs, ring_ptr
already points at the first continuation IOCB. The function however
looped purex->entry_count times starting at ring_ptr. As entry_count
includes the head, this consumed one entry too many: it stamped
RESPONSE_PROCESSED on the next, unrelated IOCB and advanced the ring
past it, silently dropping a legitimate firmware response. The head
IOCB's signature was also never marked.
Mark the head processed and account for it, then consume only the
entry_count - 1 continuation IOCBs, matching __qla_copy_purex_to_buffer(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
arm64: hibernate: mask DAIF before restoring hibernated kernel
The arm64 hibernate code manages the exception masking in an unsound
way, leading to potential crashes and/or warnings during resume.
When a hibernation image is saved in `swsusp_arch_suspend()`, all DAIF
exceptions are masked (by virtue of `local_daif_save()`), and the
suspended image is saved assuming that all DAIF exceptions will remain
masked when the image is restored.
When a hibernation image is resumed by `swsusp_arch_resume()`, only
interrupts are masked (by virtue of `local_irq_disable()` in
`resume_target_kernel()`). When pseudo-NMI is enabled the DAIF.IF bits
will be clear, and regardless of pseudo-NMI the DAIF.DA bits will be
clear.
This means that there are two problems:
(1) It is possible to take Debug, SError, or pseudo-NMI exceptions
during the resume process. This is unsafe, as during the resume
process both the old ane new kernels will tranisently be in an
inconsistent state, and swsusp_arch_suspend_exit() won't retain
an executable mapping of any exception vectors.
Any exception taken here will be fatal and silent.
(2) When re-entering the resumed kernel, some DAIF bits will be clear
unexpectedly. This permits Debug, SError, or pseudo-NMI exceptions
to be taken for a short period while the resumed kernel is not yet
in a consistent state.
This is detected by CONFIG_ARM64_DEBUG_PRIORITY_MASKING.
Avoid these issues by masking all DAIF exceptions during resume. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
staging: media: tegra-video: fix of_node_put() on VIP parse errors
tegra_vip_channel_of_parse() initializes np from dev->of_node without
taking a reference, but its error paths drop one through the
err_node_put label. This underflows the refcount of the VIP device's
OF node when endpoint parsing fails on a malformed device tree.
The only reference the function takes on np is the success-path
of_node_get() stored in vip->chan.of_node, and that one is already
released by the tegra_vip_init() error path and by tegra_vip_exit().
Return errors directly instead of jumping to the bogus cleanup label. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
gfs2: move quota_init qc iterator increment
Move qc++ from the loop body into the for-loop increment
expression in gfs2_quota_init().
This keeps iterator progression explicit and avoids mixing pointer
advance with duplicate-slot handling in the loop body. |
