CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
media: iris: fix use-after-free of fmt_src during MBPF check
During concurrency testing, multiple instances can run in parallel, and
each instance uses its own inst->lock while the core->lock protects the
list of active instances. The race happens because these locks cover
different scopes, inst->lock protects only the internals of a single
instance, while the Macro Blocks Per Frame (MBPF) checker walks the
core list under core->lock and reads fields like fmt_src->width and
fmt_src->height. At the same time, iris_close() may free fmt_src and
fmt_dst under inst->lock while the instance is still present in the core
list. This allows a situation where the MBPF checker, still iterating
through the core list, reaches an instance whose fmt_src was already
freed by another thread and ends up dereferencing a dangling pointer,
resulting in a use-after-free. This happens because the MBPF checker
assumes that any instance in the core list is fully valid, but the
freeing of fmt_src and fmt_dst without removing the instance from the
core list is not correct.
The correct ordering is to defer freeing fmt_src and fmt_dst until after
the instance has been removed from the core list and all teardown under
the core lock has completed, ensuring that no dangling pointers are ever
exposed during MBPF checks. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: ti: icssg-prueth: fix use-after-free of CPPI descriptor in RX path
cppi5_hdesc_get_psdata() returns a pointer into the CPPI descriptor.
In both emac_rx_packet() and emac_rx_packet_zc(), the descriptor is
freed via k3_cppi_desc_pool_free() before the psdata pointer is used
by emac_rx_timestamp(), which dereferences psdata[0] and psdata[1].
This constitutes a use-after-free on every received packet that goes
through the timestamp path.
Defer the descriptor free until after all accesses through the psdata
pointer are complete. For emac_rx_packet(), move the free into the
requeue label so both early-exit and success paths free the descriptor
after all accesses are done. For emac_rx_packet_zc(), move the free to
the end of the loop body after emac_dispatch_skb_zc() (which calls
emac_rx_timestamp()) has returned. |
| The Easy HTTPS Redirection (SSL) WordPress plugin before 2.0.2 does not perform capability checks in some of its AJAX actions, allowing any authenticated user, such as a Subscriber, to read URLs its content scanner collected from private and draft posts and from site options, and to trigger a site-wide rewrite of those URLs, once an administrator has run a scan. |
| The eaSYNC Booking WordPress plugin before 1.3.31 does not perform authorization or nonce checks on several of its cancellation-related AJAX actions, allowing unauthenticated users to create booking cancellation requests, trigger booking notification emails, and overwrite the content of the emails the site sends. |
| The CamPay Shortcode Payment Gateway WordPress plugin before 1.7 does not verify the authenticity of Mobile Money payment confirmations and derives the payment result from client-supplied parameters, allowing unauthenticated attackers to mark payment records as paid, destroy genuine payment records, and write CamPay Shortcode Payment Gateway WordPress plugin before 1.7 meta onto arbitrary posts. |
| Nix before 2.35.3 and Lix before 2.95.4 on macOS allow a Seatbelt sandbox escape (for an unconfined build) because a certain size threshold is mishandled. |
| The Classified Listing WordPress plugin before 6.1.1 does not verify that the requester owns or can edit the target listing when a gallery request references an unattached media item, allowing any authenticated user with a subscriber-level account to modify, corrupt or delete media-library attachments owned by other users, including administrators. |
| The JTL-Connector for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based SQL Injection via 'product.push' Identity Endpoint in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.3 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. The injection fires during identity linking, before ProductController::push() executes, meaning exploitation succeeds even if downstream product handling would otherwise reject the request. |
| The LTL Freight Quotes WordPress plugin before 4.2.19 does not perform any authorization check or validation on one of its REST routes that writes to the database, allowing unauthenticated users to modify some of the LTL Freight Quotes WordPress plugin before 4.2.19's stored settings. |
| Akaunting 3.1.21 contains an authenticated improper authorization vulnerability in the common BulkActions dispatcher.This issue affects Akaunting: 3.1.21. |
| The JNews - Jeg Elementor Kit plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access of data due to a missing capability check on both the 'jkit_post_block' and 'jeg_find_author' AJAX actions in versions up to, and including, 3.2.19. The 'wp_ajax_jkit_post_block' handler (registered generically for every element via wp_ajax_{$element_id} in Elements_Option_Abstract::setup_hook) returns the element's full option schema — including a freshly minted wp_create_nonce('jeg_find_author') — to any authenticated caller, and the 'wp_ajax_jeg_find_author' handler then runs a WP_User_Query with the attacker-supplied 'query' wrapped in '*…*' against search_columns that include user_email, echoing the ID and display_name of every matching user. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to enumerate every registered user of the site and to reconstruct arbitrary users' email addresses one character at a time by using the substring search as an oracle. |

TP_fast_assign() unconditionally calls udp_hdr(skb) before checking
whether the packet is UDP. Furthermore, __icmp_send() can be invoked
from paths (e.g., link failures, ARP errors, forwarding, AF_PACKET)
where skb->transport_header was never initialized (~0U).
Under CONFIG_DEBUG_NET=y, calling skb_transport_header(skb) triggers
DEBUG_NET_WARN_ON_ONCE(!skb_transport_header_was_set(skb)).
Fix this by:
1. Only parsing transport info when iph->protocol == IPPROTO_UDP.
2. Using skb_header_pointer() at skb_network_offset(skb) + (iph->ihl << 2)
to safely fetch the UDP header without assuming transport_header is set. |
| Parse Server 8.2.2 before 8.6.94 and 9.0.0 before 9.10.1-alpha.14 applies its GraphQL introspection control only to operation text sent directly with a request, not to operations resolved from Apollo Server's automatic persisted query cache. Unauthenticated attackers holding the public Application Id and client key can replay an introspection query previously cached by a master or maintenance key client to retrieve the schema, including private class and field names. |
| ImageMagick before 6.9.13-57 and 7.x before 7.1.2-32 contains a type confusion flaw in the INFO, JSON and YAML encoders, where an internal method receives a pointer of an unexpected type when writing an image in a compressed format. An attacker who can cause such an image write can trigger a SIGABRT or SIGSEGV, crashing the process and causing denial of service. |
| libmspack through 0.11alpha contains an uninitialized pointer free vulnerability in kwajd_open() in mspack/kwajd.c that frees unzeroed filename and extra pointers on header read errors. Attackers can supply a truncated, empty, or wrong-signature KWAJ file to crash the process or obtain an arbitrary-free memory corruption primitive. |
| omarchy-theme-set in Omarchy 4 before 4.0.1 allows code execution via a third-party theme because the files placed into ~/.local/state/omarchy/current/theme may include executable content from an untrusted Git repository. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
i2c: core: fix adapter registration race
Adapters can be looked up based on their id using i2c_get_adapter()
which takes a reference to the embedded struct device.
Make sure that the adapter (including its struct device) has been
initialised before adding it to the IDR to avoid accessing uninitialised
data which could, for example, lead to NULL-pointer dereferences or
use-after-free.
Note that the i2c-dev chardev, which is registered from a bus notifier,
currently uses i2c_get_adapter() so the adapter needs to be added to the
IDR before registration. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: nf_conntrack: destroy stale expectfn expectations on unregister
NAT helpers such as nf_nat_h323 store a raw pointer to module text in
exp->expectfn (e.g. ip_nat_q931_expect). nf_ct_helper_expectfn_unregister()
only unlinks the callback descriptor and never walks the expectation table,
so an expectation pending at module removal survives with a dangling
exp->expectfn into freed module text.
When the expected connection arrives, init_conntrack() invokes
exp->expectfn(), now a stale pointer into the unloaded module. Reproduced
on a KASAN build by loading the H.323 helpers, creating a Q.931
expectation, unloading nf_nat_h323, then connecting to the expected port:
Oops: int3: 0000 [#1] SMP KASAN NOPTI

tcp_v4_connect (net/ipv4/tcp_ipv4.c:345)
__sys_connect (net/socket.c:2167)
Modules linked in: nf_conntrack_h323 [last unloaded: nf_nat_h323]
Reaching the dangling state requires CAP_SYS_MODULE in the initial user
namespace to remove a NAT helper that still has live expectations, so this
is a robustness fix; leaving an expectation pointing at freed text is wrong
regardless.
Add nf_ct_helper_expectfn_destroy(), which walks the expectation table and
drops every expectation whose ->expectfn matches the descriptor being torn
down. Call it from each NAT helper's exit path after the existing RCU grace
period, so no expectation outlives the code it points at and no extra
synchronize_rcu() is introduced. With the fix, the same reproducer runs to
completion without the Oops. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: synproxy: add mutex to guard hook reference counting
As the synproxy infrastructure register netfilter hooks on-demand when a
user adds the first iptables target or nftables expression, if done
concurrently they can race each other.
Introduce a mutex to serialize the refcount control blocks access from
both frontends. While a per namespace mutex might be more efficient, it
is not needed for target/expression like SYNPROXY. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: MGMT: validate advertising TLV before type checks
tlv_data_is_valid() reads each advertising data field length from
data[i], then inspects data[i + 1] for managed EIR types before
checking that the current field still fits inside the supplied buffer.
A malformed field whose length byte is the last byte of the buffer can
therefore make the parser read one byte past the advertising data.
KASAN reported the following when a malformed MGMT_OP_ADD_ADVERTISING
request reached that path:
BUG: KASAN: vmalloc-out-of-bounds in tlv_data_is_valid()
Read of size 1
Call trace:
tlv_data_is_valid()
add_advertising()
hci_mgmt_cmd()
hci_sock_sendmsg()
Move the existing element-length check before any type-octet inspection
so each non-empty element is proven to contain its type byte before the
parser looks at data[i + 1]. |
