CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: xt_tcpmss: check remaining length before reading optlen
Quoting reporter:
In net/netfilter/xt_tcpmss.c (lines 53-68), the TCP option parser reads
op[i+1] directly without validating the remaining option length.
If the last byte of the option field is not EOL/NOP (0/1), the code attempts
to index op[i+1]. In the case where i + 1 == optlen, this causes an
out-of-bounds read, accessing memory past the optlen boundary
(either reading beyond the stack buffer _opt or the
following payload). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
RDMA/irdma: Fix double free related to rereg_user_mr
If IB_MR_REREG_TRANS is set during rereg_user_mr, the
umem will be released and a new one will be allocated
in irdma_rereg_mr_trans. If any step of irdma_rereg_mr_trans
fails after the new umem is allocated, it releases the umem,
but does not set iwmr->region to NULL. The problem is that
this failure is propagated to the user, who will then call
ibv_dereg_mr (as they should). Then, the dereg_mr path will
see a non-NULL umem and attempt to call ib_umem_release again.
Fix this by setting iwmr->region to NULL after ib_umem_release.
Fixed: 5ac388db27c4 ("RDMA/irdma: Add support to re-register a memory region") |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/x25: Fix potential double free of skb
When alloc_skb fails in x25_queue_rx_frame it calls kfree_skb(skb) at
line 48 and returns 1 (error).
This error propagates back through the call chain:
x25_queue_rx_frame returns 1
|
v
x25_state3_machine receives the return value 1 and takes the else
branch at line 278, setting queued=0 and returning 0
|
v
x25_process_rx_frame returns queued=0
|
v
x25_backlog_rcv at line 452 sees queued=0 and calls kfree_skb(skb)
again
This would free the same skb twice. Looking at x25_backlog_rcv:
net/x25/x25_in.c:x25_backlog_rcv() {
...
queued = x25_process_rx_frame(sk, skb);
...
if (!queued)
kfree_skb(skb);

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
vt: discard stale unicode buffer on alt screen exit after resize
When enter_alt_screen() saves vc_uni_lines into vc_saved_uni_lines and
sets vc_uni_lines to NULL, a subsequent console resize via vc_do_resize()
skips reallocating the unicode buffer because vc_uni_lines is NULL.
However, vc_saved_uni_lines still points to the old buffer allocated for
the original dimensions.
When leave_alt_screen() later restores vc_saved_uni_lines, the buffer
dimensions no longer match vc_rows/vc_cols. Any operation that iterates
over the unicode buffer using the current dimensions (e.g. csi_J clearing
the screen) will access memory out of bounds, causing a kernel oops:
BUG: unable to handle page fault for address: 0x0000002000000020
RIP: 0010:csi_J+0x133/0x2d0
The faulting address 0x0000002000000020 is two adjacent u32 space
characters (0x20) interpreted as a pointer, read from the row data area
past the end of the 25-entry pointer array in a buffer allocated for
80x25 but accessed with 240x67 dimensions.
Fix this by checking whether the console dimensions changed while in the
alternate screen. If they did, free the stale saved buffer instead of
restoring it. The unicode screen will be lazily rebuilt via
vc_uniscr_check() when next needed. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: avoid double-free in smbd_free_send_io() after smbd_send_batch_flush()
smbd_send_batch_flush() already calls smbd_free_send_io(),
so we should not call it again after smbd_post_send()
moved it to the batch list. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ksmbd: replace hardcoded hdr2_len with offsetof() in smb2_calc_max_out_buf_len()
After this commit (e2b76ab8b5c9 "ksmbd: add support for read compound"),
response buffer management was changed to use dynamic iov array.
In the new design, smb2_calc_max_out_buf_len() expects the second
argument (hdr2_len) to be the offset of ->Buffer field in the
response structure, not a hardcoded magic number.
Fix the remaining call sites to use the correct offsetof() value. |
| RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 4.0.0 until 4.0.23, 4.1.14, 4.2.9, and 4.3.3, the optional rabbitmq_jms_topic_exchange plugin's x-jms-topic exchange accepted a client-controlled rjms_erlang_selector binding expression whose LIKE evaluator expanded percent and underscore wildcards into overlapping PCRE fragments. It executed those fragments with raw re:run/3 without match or recursion limits, allowing an authenticated tenant that can bind and publish to consume broker scheduler CPU and deny service with pathological selectors. This issue is fixed in versions 4.0.23, 4.1.14, 4.2.9, and 4.3.3. |
| A potential vulnerability was reported in Lenovo Smart Camera C33, distributed exclusively in the Chinese market, that could allow an unauthorized remote user to disclose sensitive information. |
| RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to 4.3.5, an authenticated user who can bind a queue to a topic exchange and publish to it can use consecutive # segments in a binding key to make both topic matchers revisit the same trie-node and routing-key-suffix states without memoization. The matcher materializes duplicate destinations before deduplication, causing combinatorial CPU work and memory pressure that can disrupt routing for all tenants. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.3.5. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: L2CAP: Validate L2CAP_INFO_RSP payload length before access
l2cap_information_rsp() checks that cmd_len covers the fixed
l2cap_info_rsp header (type + result, 4 bytes) but then reads
rsp->data without verifying that the payload is present:
- L2CAP_IT_FEAT_MASK calls get_unaligned_le32(rsp->data), which reads
4 bytes past the header (needs cmd_len >= 8).
- L2CAP_IT_FIXED_CHAN reads rsp->data[0], 1 byte past the header
(needs cmd_len >= 5).
A truncated L2CAP_INFO_RSP with result == L2CAP_IR_SUCCESS triggers an
out-of-bounds read of adjacent skb data.
Guard each data access with the required payload length check. If the
payload is too short, skip the read and let the state machine complete
with safe defaults (feat_mask and remote_fixed_chan remain zero from
kzalloc), so the info timer cleanup and l2cap_conn_start() still run
and the connection is not stalled. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: mac80211: always free skb on ieee80211_tx_prepare_skb() failure
ieee80211_tx_prepare_skb() has three error paths, but only two of them
free the skb. The first error path (ieee80211_tx_prepare() returning
TX_DROP) does not free it, while invoke_tx_handlers() failure and the
fragmentation check both do.
Add kfree_skb() to the first error path so all three are consistent,
and remove the now-redundant frees in callers (ath9k, mt76,
mac80211_hwsim) to avoid double-free.
Document the skb ownership guarantee in the function's kdoc. |
| JuggleIM im-server through 1.8.16 ships default administrator credentials admin/123456 that allow unauthenticated remote attackers to access the admin console on port 8090. Attackers can log in as administrator, even after account deletion since CheckLogin recreates it, to control tenant applications and app secrets. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ASoC: SOF: ipc4-topology: Correct the allocation size for bytes controls
The size of the data behind of scontrol->ipc_control_data for bytes
controls is:
[1] sizeof(struct sof_ipc4_control_data) + // kernel only struct
[2] sizeof(struct sof_abi_hdr)) + payload
The max_size specifies the size of [2] and it is coming from topology.
Change the function to take this into account and allocate adequate amount
of memory behind scontrol->ipc_control_data.
With the change we will allocate [1] amount more memory to be able to hold
the full size of data. |
| BottleCRM 0.43 through 1.14.5 contains a regular expression denial of service vulnerability that allows authenticated organization administrators to block web workers via unbounded routing rule regex patterns. Attackers can create a routing rule with a catastrophically backtracking pattern evaluated by _match_condition() during case saves, exhausting workers shared across all tenants. |
| In DragonFly BSD through 6.4.2 before 4bb22ff, the ARP input handlers arpintr() and in_arpinput() (sys/netinet/if_ether.c) do not validate the hardware address length (ar_hln) and protocol address length (ar_pln) fields of incoming ARP packets. in_arpreply() then uses these attacker-controlled values as memcpy lengths when copying from kernel buffers that are only 6 and 4 bytes long, resulting in an out-of-bounds read of kernel heap and stack memory that is copied into the ARP reply sent back to the requester. An unauthenticated attacker on the adjacent network can use a single crafted ARP request to disclose up to roughly 250 bytes of each type of kernel memory, including kernel pointers. This is expected to be fixed in the 6.6 stable release when that is available. |
| Use of externally-controlled format string in SQL Server allows an authorized attacker to deny service over a network. |
| Weak authentication in Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) allows an unauthorized attacker to bypass a security feature over a network. |
| Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to versions 5.4.54, 6.4.46, 7.4.19, and 8.1.7, HeaderUtils::split() parsed header values with a pattern whose token alternative also matched whitespace, followed by a (?<!\s) lookbehind. A run of whitespace placed before a separator could be divided among the iterations of the enclosing repetition in exponentially many ways, and the engine tried all of them before settling. HeaderBag calls it for the Cache-Control header whenever a Request is built, so any application handling HTTP requests is reachable, with no authentication.
A single request carrying such a header costs close to a second of CPU (813 ms for a run of 17 spaces in an 8 KB header on PHP 8.5, doubling with each extra space). From 18 spaces on, preg_match_all() gives up at pcre.backtrack_limit and split() returns an empty array, so every directive of the header is silently dropped.
This issue affects symfony/http-foundation v4.1.0-BETA1 through v5.4.53, v6.0.0-BETA1 through v6.4.45, v7.0.0-BETA1 through v7.4.18, and v8.0.0-BETA1 through v8.1.6. |
| Thelia 3.0.0's back-office Email/Messages feature contains a server‑side template injection (SSTI) flaw that allows any authenticated user with the “Messages” permission to supply unsandboxed Twig templates, which are then compiled and executed as raw code. By modifying Message content, an attacker can execute arbitrary PHP functions, read sensitive files, and potentially write to the filesystem, leading to full compromise of the application and underlying host. This vulnerability has been patched in thelia/twig-engine-module 1.0.9. |
| Thelia 2.6.1 contains an absolute path traversal vulnerability in its Smarty template handling that enables SSTI and remote code execution. The `checkTemplate()` validation restricts relative directory traversal sequences such as `../` but does not reject absolute paths, allowing an authorized user to supply an arbitrary filesystem path as a template. Smarty then loads and compiles the referenced file without an effective security policy, so depending on filesystem layout and deployment configuration, template code in the file can be executed with the web server's privileges. |
