CVE-2026-114137 1 Encode 1 Django Rest Framework 2026-10-22 7.4 High
Django REST framework is a toolkit for building Web APIs. From 3.12.0 until 3.18.2, TokenProxy.delete() in rest_framework/authtoken/models.py uses the proxy's user-id pk while the concrete Token token-string primary key identifies rows, so Django issues a deletion query that matches no row and reports zero deletions without raising an error. Applications, administrative integrations, or operational scripts that revoke credentials through a TokenProxy instance can therefore believe revocation succeeded while the token remains live and continues authenticating. DRF's own TokenAdmin.delete_model workaround is not affected, but other callers can leave access available indefinitely because DRF tokens do not expire automatically. This issue is fixed in version 3.18.2.
CVE-2026-98705 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 6.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: account proxy paths against the mesh path limit Proxy-path churn can drive the interface path counter negative and let later mesh path additions exceed MESH_MAX_MPATHS. mesh_path_free_rcu() decrements the interface mpaths counter for entries from both the mesh and proxy path tables, but mpp_path_add() never reserves a slot in that counter. Removing or expiring a proxy path therefore returns a slot that was never charged. mesh_path_add() uses the same counter to enforce MESH_MAX_MPATHS, so once it falls below the number of installed paths the limit no longer holds. Reserve the shared quota before allocating a proxy path and release it on every unsuccessful addition. Mesh and proxy paths now share one 1024-entry budget, so mpp_path_add() can return -ENOSPC at that limit.
CVE-2026-98857 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipvs: bound LBLCR and LBLC cache growth ip_vs_lblcr_new() and ip_vs_lblc_new() create cache entries for every previously unseen destination address. The table max_size only tells the periodic collector to reclaim entries after the cache has already exceeded the limit. It does not reclaim entries that the attacker continues to use. Reject new cache entries once either table reaches max_size * 3 / 2. The extra headroom lets the periodic collector catch up while the existing scheduler fallback continues to use the selected destination when cache creation fails. New traffic therefore stays serviceable without growing the tables further.
CVE-2026-98825 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rtc: mpfs: fix unchecked devm_clk_get() error pointer in probe() devm_clk_get(&pdev->dev, "rtcref")'s return value was passed straight into clk_get_rate() without checking it for an error first, unlike the "rtc" clock a few lines above which is correctly checked with IS_ERR(). clk_get_rate() only guards against a NULL clk, not an error pointer: if (!clk) return 0; ... rate = clk_core_get_rate_recalc(clk->core); so if devm_clk_get() ever returns an error pointer here (for example ERR_PTR(-EPROBE_DEFER), which is the normal, expected outcome if the clkcfg clock-provider this RTC depends on has not registered its clocks yet by the time this driver probes), clk_get_rate() dereferences that error pointer instead of returning 0, crashing instead of letting probe defer. Capture the clock in the existing 'clk' local and check it with IS_ERR() before calling clk_get_rate(), matching the handling already used for the "rtc" clock in this same function.
CVE-2026-98484 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 3.4 Low
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: skip expired catchall elements on insert and delete nft_setelem_catchall_insert() looks up duplicates with nft_set_elem_active() only, while nft_set_catchall_lookup() and the dump path additionally skip expired elements. Once a catchall element with a timeout expires, this predicate drift makes it invisible to userspace dumps, yet it still blocks re-insertion: with NLM_F_EXCL the request fails with -EEXIST, and without it the request reports success but silently inserts nothing. The stale entry only goes away when the (user-tunable) gc interval elapses, so the catchall rule may silently stop matching for an arbitrarily long time after its first expiration. The delete path shows the same drift: nft_setelem_catchall_deactivate() picks the first active-next entry in the catchall list, so with an expired entry still pending GC it retires the stale entry instead of the fresh one, and it deactivates an element that userspace no longer sees instead of failing with -ENOENT. Align both walks with the lookup and dump predicates: only an element that is active and not expired counts as a duplicate or delete candidate, using the per-netns timestamp taken at transaction start, in line with the set backend .insert/.deactivate and catchall GC sync paths.
CVE-2026-98161 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvdimm: pmem: keep PREFLUSH before data writes pmem_submit_bio() records a REQ_PREFLUSH error, but continues to copy the bio data and can later overwrite the error with a successful REQ_FUA flush. That lets data writes run after a failed preflush and can complete the bio successfully despite the failed ordering barrier. Run the REQ_PREFLUSH flush synchronously before touching the bio data and complete the bio with the flush error if it fails. Keep asynchronous flush chaining for REQ_FUA. At that point, data copy has completed and the parent bio can wait for the chained flush bio.
CVE-2026-98114 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: propagate DACL parsing errors parse_dacl() silently accepts truncated ACEs and allocation failures, allowing set_info_sec() to continue with an incomplete ACL conversion. Return parsing and allocation errors to parse_sec_desc() so malformed security descriptors are rejected before inode attributes or ACL xattrs are updated.
CVE-2026-93168 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: xilinx_dma: Fix CPU stall in xilinx_dma_poll_timeout Currently when calling xilinx_dma_poll_timeout with delay_us=0 and a condition that is never fulfilled, the CPU busy-waits for prolonged time and the timeout triggers only with a massive delay causing a CPU stall. This happens due to a huge underestimation of wall clock time in poll_timeout_us_atomic. Commit 7349a69cf312 ("iopoll: Do not use timekeeping in read_poll_timeout_atomic()") changed the behavior to no longer use ktime_get at the expense of underestimation of wall clock time which appears to be very large for delay_us=0. Instead of timing out after approximately XILINX_DMA_LOOP_COUNT microseconds, the timeout takes XILINX_DMA_LOOP_COUNT * 1000 * (time that the overhead of the for loop in poll_timeout_us_atomic takes) which is in the range of several minutes for XILINX_DMA_LOOP_COUNT=1000000. Fix this by using a non-zero value for delay_us. Use delay_us=10 to keep the delay in the hot path of starting DMA transfers minimal but still avoid CPU stalls in case of unexpected hardware failures. One-off measurement with delay_us=0 causes the cpu to busy wait around 7 minutes in the timeout case. After applying this patch with delay_us=10 the measured timeout was 1053428 microseconds which is roughly equivalent to the expected 1000000 microseconds specified in XILINX_DMA_LOOP_COUNT. Add a constant XILINX_DMA_POLL_DELAY_US for delay_us value.
CVE-2026-90424 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/tegra241-cmdqv: Fix VINTF0 leak on the init-failure path tegra241_cmdqv_init_structures() allocates VINTF0 with kzalloc_obj(), inits it, and preallocates its logical VCMDQs. Two of its error paths leak. When tegra241_cmdqv_init_vintf() fails it returns before VINTF0 reaches the cmdqv->vintfs[] array, so the devres unwind on probe failure cannot reach it; free it directly there. A later VCMDQ preallocation failure instead leaves VINTF0 published, and so this time the unwind does reach tegra241_cmdqv_remove_vintf(), which then frees it from vintf->hyp_own. But tegra241_vintf_hw_init() sets that flag only afterward, from a HW read-back, so the still-uninited VINTF0 reads as guest-owned and leaks, with mutex_destroy() and ida_destroy() run on fields it never set up. Decide ownership from vintf->idx instead, the index assigned when its id is allocated: idx 0 is the kernel-owned VINTF0, while idx >= 1 marks a guest VINTF. So the in-kernel free decision in tegra241_cmdqv_remove_vintf() and tegra241_vintf_free_lvcmdq() now keys on idx too, and hyp_own stays a pure HW-readback state.
CVE-2026-90187 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: null_blk: free zones array on device power-off null_init_zoned_dev() allocates dev->zones when a zoned device is powered on, but null_del_dev() never frees it on power-off; dev->zones is only freed later in null_free_dev(), when the configfs directory is removed. If the device is powered off and then on again, null_init_zoned_dev() allocates a new array and overwrites the dev->zones pointer, leaking the previous allocation each power cycle. Free dev->zones in null_del_dev() via null_free_zoned_dev() to solve it. And calling null_free_zoned_dev() in null_free_dev() is no longer necessary because every caller already invokes null_del_dev() first: via nullb_group_drop_item() before nullb_device_release(), in the null_add_dev() error path of null_create_dev(), and in null_destroy_dev(). Remove the redundant call. And take &lock around zone_cond_store() in the two store wrappers to serialize dev->zones check-and-deref against its alloc/free, which already run under &lock. The reason there was no problem before is that only nullb_device_release() or null_exit() frees the dev->zones, which guarantees that subsequent users won't access the configfs interface.
CVE-2026-90179 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: apparmor: fix deadlock in complain-mode change_hat The use of change_hat when in complain mode can cause a deadlock when the hat doesn't exist and a new learning profile is created for the missing profile. This is because change_hat() has taken the lock to search the hat list and creating the new learning profile needs to take the lock to add it to the list. From the bug report: Originally found in 7.0.0 in LTS ubuntu 26.04 with pam_apparmor + su in complain mode set to change hats. Then verified in newest available vanilla kernel I've compiled to see if still present: 7.2-rc7 vanilla -> affected checked also some other kernels: 6.18.44 vanilla -> affected 6.12.95 with debian patches -> unaffected On systems without bug (for example 6.12.95 debian) it just prints: aa_change_hat rc=0 On systems with bug, the executable always hangs, prints nothing and becomes unkillable. (And once stuck this way, it will cause any further hat changes to also cause the changing process to get stuck) Then in syslog you can find hint about cause: kernel: INFO: task hat:3409 blocked for more than 483 seconds. kernel: Not tainted 7.2.0-rc7 #1 kernel: "echo 0 > /proc/sys/kernel/hung_task_timeout_secs" disables this message. kernel: task:hat state:D stack:0 pid:3409 tgid:3409 ppid:2605 task_flags:0x400000 flags:0x00080800 kernel: Call Trace: kernel: <TASK> kernel: __schedule+0x48f/0xfe0 kernel: schedule+0x27/0xa0 kernel: schedule_preempt_disabled+0x15/0x30 kernel: __mutex_lock.constprop.0+0x569/0xa10 kernel: aa_new_learning_profile+0x15f/0x210 kernel: build_change_hat+0x19f/0x3b0 kernel: change_hat.isra.0+0x5dd/0xd60 kernel: aa_change_hat+0x2f3/0x710 kernel: aa_setprocattr_changehat+0x121/0x1f0 kernel: do_setattr+0x28c/0x340 kernel: apparmor_setselfattr+0x20/0x50 kernel: security_setselfattr+0xf6/0x110 kernel: __x64_sys_lsm_set_self_attr+0x53/0x90 kernel: do_syscall_64+0xdd/0x5e0 kernel: ? __mod_memcg_lruvec_state+0xfd/0x260 kernel: ? lruvec_stat_mod_folio+0x8d/0xd0 kernel: ? __folio_mod_stat+0x2d/0x90 kernel: ? map_anon_folio_pte_nopf+0xd1/0x1f0 kernel: ? do_anonymous_page+0x184/0xa10 kernel: ? __handle_mm_fault+0x805/0x870 kernel: ? count_memcg_events+0xef/0x230 kernel: ? handle_mm_fault+0x1f0/0x2f0 kernel: ? do_user_addr_fault+0x2bb/0x7b0 kernel: ? do_syscall_64+0x94/0x5e0 kernel: ? exc_page_fault+0x75/0x160 kernel: entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x76/0x7e kernel: RIP: 0033:0x7f815e134c8d kernel: RSP: 002b:00007fff6df94ea8 EFLAGS: 00000246 ORIG_RAX: 00000000000001cc kernel: RAX: ffffffffffffffda RBX: 0000556d8c81d040 RCX: 00007f815e134c8d kernel: RDX: 0000000000000046 RSI: 0000556d8c81d040 RDI: 0000000000000064 kernel: RBP: 00007fff6df94ef0 R08: 00007f815e212ac8 R09: 000000000000000c kernel: R10: 0000000000000000 R11: 0000000000000246 R12: 0000556d8c81d010 kernel: R13: 0000000000000026 R14: 0000000000000046 R15: 0000000000000064 kernel: </TASK> kernel: INFO: task hat:3409 is blocked on a mutex likely owned by task hat:3409. CVE-2026-80581 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: SOF: ipc4-pcm: Continue the pipeline trigger in case of IPC timeout Ignore IPC errors for pipeline state change if the firmware state is crashed or the IPC has timed out. If the firmware has crashed the kernel still needs to go through the state changes to reset its internal to be able to correctly work the next time the DSP is booted up. The case with IPC timeout is a bit more problematic, but it has been rootcaused to be the result of system scheduling blockage and the firmware did actually received and handled the message, but the reply handling got blocked by issues outside of the SOF stack. So far the best way to handle this is to continue with setting the state.
CVE-2026-43443 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: amd: acp-mach-common: Add missing error check for clock acquisition The acp_card_rt5682_init() and acp_card_rt5682s_init() functions did not check the return values of clk_get(). This could lead to a kernel crash when the invalid pointers are later dereferenced by clock core functions. Fix this by: 1. Changing clk_get() to the device-managed devm_clk_get(). 2. Adding IS_ERR() checks immediately after each clock acquisition.
CVE-2026-43244 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: kcm: fix zero-frag skb in frag_list on partial sendmsg error Syzkaller reported a warning in kcm_write_msgs() when processing a message with a zero-fragment skb in the frag_list. When kcm_sendmsg() fills MAX_SKB_FRAGS fragments in the current skb, it allocates a new skb (tskb) and links it into the frag_list before copying data. If the copy subsequently fails (e.g. -EFAULT from user memory), tskb remains in the frag_list with zero fragments: head skb (msg being assembled, NOT yet in sk_write_queue) +-----------+ | frags[17] | (MAX_SKB_FRAGS, all filled with data) | frag_list-+--> tskb +-----------+ +----------+ | frags[0] | (empty! copy failed before filling) +----------+ For SOCK_SEQPACKET with partial data already copied, the error path saves this message via partial_message for later completion. For SOCK_SEQPACKET, sock_write_iter() automatically sets MSG_EOR, so a subsequent zero-length write(fd, NULL, 0) completes the message and queues it to sk_write_queue. kcm_write_msgs() then walks the frag_list and hits: WARN_ON(!skb_shinfo(skb)->nr_frags) TCP has a similar pattern where skbs are enqueued before data copy and cleaned up on failure via tcp_remove_empty_skb(). KCM was missing the equivalent cleanup. Fix this by tracking the predecessor skb (frag_prev) when allocating a new frag_list entry. On error, if the tail skb has zero frags, use frag_prev to unlink and free it in O(1) without walking the singly-linked frag_list. frag_prev is safe to dereference because the entire message chain is only held locally (or in kcm->seq_skb) and is not added to sk_write_queue until MSG_EOR, so the send path cannot free it underneath us. Also change the WARN_ON to WARN_ON_ONCE to avoid flooding the log if the condition is somehow hit repeatedly. There are currently no KCM selftests in the kernel tree; a simple reproducer is available at [1]. [1] https://gist.github.com/mrpre/a94d431c757e8d6f168f4dd1a3749daa
CVE-2026-43204 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: qcom: q6asm: drop DSP responses for closed data streams 'Commit a354f030dbce ("ASoC: qcom: q6asm: handle the responses after closing")' attempted to ignore DSP responses arriving after a stream had been closed. However, those responses were still handled, causing lockups. Fix this by unconditionally dropping all DSP responses associated with closed data streams.
